Stopped at Hey Lucy for dinner before catching a show. Was seated on the outdoor patio. The patio itself was very cute and the best thing about our visit. The food was mediocre but was decently priced. I tried the Mac and cheese, which turned out to be just penne noodles with globs of cheese melted, diced bacon and was super oily. The other diner had the steak salad which was fine. The patio cleared out shortly after we were seated and despite not being that busy it took almost 25 minutes to be checked on/have our order taken. While staff appeared nice on the surface, it was easily seen how disingenuous their tone fo voice and fake concern was. Kind of the typical Gen z behaviour.

We tried the Mac and Cheese balls, garlic bread and prosciutto pizza. The stone fired pizza was done to perfection, as were the other dishes. The drink menu had a wide variety, and the bartender was able to make whatever we asked for. We will be back.

Chicken club panini dry as dust with undercooked bacon on grocery store sliced bread. Waited forever to get the bill and get out.

We arrived nearly half an hour before our reservation. They accommodated us. Took us upstairs and offered a table right by the window. In my opinion, it was the nicest table in the whole restaurant.
Our server, Natalie, made suggestions which we took. We were very happy with all the choices. Natalie was lovely which made the experience even better!
We informed Natalie that we had tickets to the theater. She timed everything perfectly.
The food was fabulous. We had drinks, an appetizer and entrees followed by dessert and my wife had a coffee. Under $100.
We will return to Hey Lucy again!
Thank you Natalie.

I loved everything about this little gem of a bar/restaurant! The atmosphere, ambiance, service and the FOOD! My husband and I ate at the bar for a late dinner, where Sam took care of us attentively. Sam was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu when we had questions. We fully intended to get an appetizer and drink and hop around the area as we are from out of town. Much to our surprise our first course which was the meatball was absolutely delicious. Meat sauce is so flavorful and the meatball is giant! We decided to stay as it was martini Wednesday and ended up getting our second course, macaroni and cheese. I canβt give this dish enough propsβ¦ So subtle with all the wonderful flavors that are going on in it. We ended up with a chocolate cookie dessert that made a perfect ending to our late dinner. Yes, we will be coming back here tomorrow night. :)

We went back to Hey Lucy today to celebrate 20 years of marriage, the same place where my husband proposed. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the sneaky waiter even played our wedding song after asking what it was. A perfect little surprise even with a sweet treat.

Wonderful chicken and sausage penne. I love how close it is to the TIFF Bell Lightbox and how attentive the staff is. Will definitely be coming back!

Asked the staff to do a drink and a cake for my gfs birthday for at the end of our meal (willing to pay) specified at the END as a surprise. Server came with the drink 10 minutes later before even taking our order and said here you are! I face palmed. Could have thought I told them at the end. Surprise=ruined
Then the food; calamari was barely fried, very soggy. We then both ordered chicken primavera and my god, it was the most oiliest thing Iβve ever had. It was so oily, the United States of America was about to invade the plate. Also it was super bland. No flavour and the fusilli was pretty hard.
They did bring a birthday slice cake at the end, but couldnβt even light the candle lol. That tasted good.
Even the couple beside us was not feeling the food.

We visited during Winterlicious and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The food was excellent, flavorful, well presented, and definitely the highlight of the evening.
Unfortunately, the service didnβt match the quality of the cuisine. When we asked whether the dishes were spicy, our server simply told us that everything was spicy without offering any guidance, alternatives, or suggestions. Later, when we asked if we could have some cheese to help tone down the heat and make the dishes more manageable, she said yes, but the overall attitude felt dismissive and unhelpful throughout the night.
That said, the restaurant itself is lovely and the food truly deserves recognition. We would absolutely return for the dining experience β we would just prefer to sit in a different section next time.

First time at Hey Lucy
I had the spaghetti bolanese and it was delicious. My friend had the chicken panini sandwich and it was awful, bland tasteless chicken. When we told the waitress she dismissed our comment and walked away. The service was not at all welcoming either.
Not sure about coming back.
