I'll start by saying they have great service. They described a couple of the different types of fish, telling us which ones were more fatty etc. The selection of fish is also good ; you can get harder to find fish like black cod. The prices aren't cheap, but the service and selection makes up for it.
I've lived close enough to walk here for a few years now but only recently made my first visit. I was really happy to receive some useful suggestions and advice when the fish I came in for wasn't in stock. After seeing the selection and experiencing super helpful service, I wish I'd have come here sooner.

(Review is for lunch takeaway not the shop) Fried fish and shrimp po'boy were each great. Delicious, not greasy, and quality ingredients. (Blackbird baguette for the sandwich, yum.) Fries were super soggy/greasy though, like the fryer wasn't hot enough. But you're there for the fish anyway, and that's stellar.
