The place stinks. Also, believe the other reviews about the bartenders being rude, however, they are "overly friendly" with the girls :) especially dude with beard and dude in the inside bar, you are there to work and serve customers, not to pickup.
I would hope someone would clean the washrooms there.
Finally, make sure to check how much they charge you.
We stopped into the Horseshoe just to take in the aura. So many bands we love have played here over the years and we just wanted to see it. Nice old dive, attentive bartender, happy customers. We hope to return for a show some day.
Saw an awesome group - SoundOne! Great evening
Decent not sure that I wouldn't return..
Just a classic, iconic Toronto place. Any band you see here will be great. Always fun times with friends.
Fabulous Rock venue, good drinks, and areas where you can sit and get away from the music if so disposed. A fun night out
We had bought concert tickets months ago. I was in an accident a couple of weeks ago and was worried about seating etc. as I have a large brace on. I'm assuming one of the managers, John, assured me that if I didn't find seating he would set aside a couple of stools for us. I am so appreciative that they were so accommodating! We managed to find seating on our own, the sound was amazing, drinks weren't price gouging like some venues, and it was well organized. I can't wait for my next concert here!
Came here twice. The drinks were strong, rum and Coke for 7$. Music was amazing, both live and not live. Good atmosphere.
Classic live music joint, a lot of fun
Always a great time, good drink pricing.

So much entertainment has been thru these doors including John langford and skull orchard burlington welsh male chorus
$9 bottles, $11 tall cans / great dive to see up and coming acts or underground faves.
Awesome place the people super friendly and make you feel right . Erin was super friendly and welcoming.
Nice and "homey" road house feel. Murphy stout pint, CAD $8 before tax. Plan to visit for a pint or two if I am in the area again.
A&W next door, yum yum
