Legendary Toronto music venue with tons of history. Been attending shows and performing here for years. Sound and artists are always great, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Drinks are fairly priced too.

I loved this place!
It was my first trip to Toronto and I did not expect people to be so amazing. I stopped in for one pint and ended up spending the whole evening there. Friendly faces, lots of jokes, bevvies, pool and live music. What more could a girl ask for?

Attended a little live music event in there. Standing whole night with beer in hand. Not bad

Came here on a whimp BUT the people, the atmosphere was amazing. This bar is surprisingly really big when they have live shows. Would recommend !

Been a good venue for years and years. Have seen many bands over the years like the police before they were famous, and had the chance to play their a few times in the 80s good venue for different genres of music. One of the original venues left in Toronto opened in 1947. Recommended to anyone visiting Toronto

Great bar, go for happy hoir before 7. Bartender Rich was awesome. Maybe not Rich. They have band on many nights. There were 3 bands when. You can pay to see the bands but you can listen for free.
Free pool most nights.

Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto has a cool country bar vibe with plenty of bar seating and additional seats along the sides, which makes it easy to find a spot to relax. There is also a separate section for live music, which adds to the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the performance on the night I visited wasn’t the best as the singer was noticeably out of tune, which took away from the experience. What really let the place down, though, was the restroom. The stench of urine was strong before I even stepped inside, which was quite off-putting and not what you would expect from an otherwise lively venue. Overall, the bar itself had potential and a good setup, but the music quality and cleanliness definitely need improvement.
