Probably the best coffee in the city with very tasty food and baked goods.
A lovely spot that stands out in comparison to so the other options with very friendly staff. A very human and welcoming place with great things being served.
I highly recommend (never mind the great gelato they make).

My husband Dave has been ordering the sugar free chocolate gelato and sugar free raspberry sorbet for me on DoorDash. Both flavours have a natural flavour and don’t taste like aspartame. I’m extremely content that we found this place. I hope they come out with more sugar free gelato flavours. Thank you for considering other people’s diets.

Neighbourhood Gelato Anytime. Boutique airy classy feel inside. Forest Hill pricing.
But must mention a Gelato No No Moment:
Nothing like being a not happy sales ambassador of happy desserts that typically elicit happy feelings for otherwise happy customers in happy moments and happy weather months. Seems most staff are teens/students/summer stints. Management needs to train some staff on at least putting on a smile, providing welcoming customer service and knowing their product offerings enough. Multiple observations.
On one latest occassion early Summer 2024, after asking for their gelato deals, an obviously unwelcoming staff swayed me towards a pistacchio scoop (among many others we ordered). But right after I took a lick, I overheard there was actually a better deal, and when I asked why she didn't just mention that to me, she then brazenly blamed me that I should have asked her in the first place.
The heat of my internal reaction in the moment would have certainly pizza oven-melted the gelato on the spot ----- but I chose to express my dismay in a gelato-cool ambassadorly diplomatic, but firm, manner. Won't describe the person.

Exceptional ice cream.
Had a small cone with peach + Mayan chocolate (Spicy)
Both flavors were delicious and not too sweet.
The chocolate was rich and reminded me of Mexican molé. Nice vibe.

Had the pistachio gelato and mango sorbet and they were delicious. The pistachio is very nutty, doesn’t seem artificially coloured or flavoured and is not too sweet. The mango is sweet with a tang. It was a great combination!
The berry flavour is really good too, pairs well with chocolate.
One of the best gelato I’ve ever had in Toronto. Gelato is smooth and creamy. I’m amazed.

The best (only?) local indulgence.
Delicious gelato flavor experiments in a haughty environment.

Gelato hotel is close enough to Gelato in Italy to help with my gelato fix. My daughter has IBD and she's ecstatic she can have the chocolate sorbet! I'm not a chocolate fan but It's to die for!

Gelato was good, cappuccino was lovely, but this place was not family friendly at all. Our kids were not running around or acting out. However, we very much felt like we were being watched by one staff in particular--I was holding my daughter by the window and taking photos with her and the staff member walked over to ask me to not touch the window. He then asked my son to put away his tripod. When I took my kids back to the gelato counter to purchase more treats, our kids were constantly told by the same staff member to not touch the glass fridge (they were simply pointing at the gelato and commenting on all the different flavors, which is what kids do at an ice cream shop). Overall the place felt a bit pretentious and not very welcoming.

Love this place for its gelato but seriously shockingly bad, pretentious, rude, unpleasant, and unwelcoming service today a Tuesday early evening. Staff please try to bring some joy back the fact you work at an ice cream shop!!! We can all do without the open disdain towards us customers and my children.
