The interior is stunning so aesthetic and stylish. The service was a solid 10/10 the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food was phenomenal, especially the sashimi, pasta and rolls. Definitely check this place out if your looking for high quality sushi.

Hay Sushi Eglinton, recently resumed regular hours after being open only two days a week, is a highly recommended sushi restaurant located near local residences. The Chirashi Donburi and Sushi Dinner B dishes are visually appealing with vibrant colors and generous in portion, filled with fresh and delicious flavors. The staff provide warm and welcoming service. The tempura, karaage, and wafu pasta are excellent, respecting the flavors of the ingredients. The tempura is crispy and fresh, one of the best the customers have had, and the sushi and sashimi are beautifully presented and very tasty. The pasta is cooked perfectly and not overly seasoned. The Chicken Katsu features juicy, fresh chicken fried to perfection and pairs well with sesame sauce. The Steak Donburi includes a good portion of steak, fresh veggies, and a jammy poached egg, with a marinade that balances the flavors. The Tendon (Tempura Donburi) is a favorite, with gentle crunch from light breading that doesn't overpower the protein, and overall clean, non-greasy flavors. The Nori Taco, with its deep-fried tempura battered shell, sets a high standard for other nori tacos. The attentive wait staff contribute to a great dining experience. Hay Sushi Eglinton offers high-quality food, making it one of the best dining options in the neighborhood and changing the perspective on Toronto sushi.
