Hotopia Scarborough is a gem! While it’s known more for its Sichuan cuisine and Mala Dry Pots than traditional hot pot, the flavors here are absolutely incredible and authentic.
I highly recommend trying the Sichuan Style Bullfrog Pot—the meat was so tender and the chili seasoning had a real, satisfying kick (you can adjust the spice level!). The appetizers were also great; don't skip the Scrambled Eggs and Tomatoes, which are unexpectedly rich and comforting.

Absolutely amazing! The dry pot bullfrog and dry pot pork intestine were bursting with authentic Sichuan flavor — spicy, aromatic, and super satisfying. The bullfrog was tender and fresh, while the pork intestine was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and chewy inside. The braised chicken feet were flavorful and soft, a great appetizer. Everything came out hot and fresh, and even the plain rice was perfectly cooked. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt cozy...
