Traditional fare without the fanfare. Tender Braised Sweetbreads Mirepoix served with a hearty export ale was a simply devine start to our meal. Generous platter Chateaubriand would make François-René blush. Insist on the Omelette norvégienne, not on the menu and it takes time but it is worthy of the wait. Enjoy a snort of brandy merdique in a toast with the locals while it is prepared. Magnifique!
Came here with a group of friends, one of who suggested this place. You have been warned that this is a slightly sketchy dive bar. If you already had a couple of drinks beforehand, it would make it a bit easier. Cheap drinks though - that's the bonus

Easily understand all the ONE star reviews. Honestly haven't seen a bar like this in Toronto for at least a decade... maybe longer. I've heard the rumours, needed to pee so bad I stopped in. Bartender was nice, had her little daughter with her, maybe not the best environment. Washroom on your worst day, is not possible. The level of stench and piss puddles was awful.
