Authentic Japanese restaurant! Small but charming venue.Food was good but not impressive though, a little bit disappointing. Sushi and Sashimi seems over priced to what they deliver. Service was nice and courteous

Exceptional service by friendly and attentive staff. It's a great place for fine Japanese cuisine with many unique offerings and a good sake menu. We found the portions to be generous as well. I would certainly return when I'm in the mood for an intimate, elevated dining experience

We waited more than ONE HOUR for our food, has anyone waited THAT long for an extremely mediocre meal?Our tempura shrimp was completely overcooked, maybe that’s why our food came so late. Service was polite but practically nonexistent, they never checked up on us. Soba had a good texture but nothing to brag about, portions are small with a price that can’t be justified by the quality either.Overall an extremely tedious and drawn out meal, definitely won’t recommend this place (unless you like to wait more than one hour for food).

This is still one of my fav resto in Toronto for its selection of food, service and ambiance (love their jazz music).

The lunch special has a very reasonable price. Everything here has a rich flavour.

Wow... it was blanded tastr udon. Taste like water but it is 20 bucks..... but bento was fine but rice not included. I ate spy salmon also but no mayo there it was terrible experience

I will miss you. I have wonderful memories of your Bay Street and Bloor Street locations. The quiet space, the softly playing jazz, the friendly and courteous staff. I wish you well in your next chapter. I will treasure the memories of a fine chef and a wonderful restaurant.

I had lunch with a colleague at this restaurant in March 2020. The food and service were outstanding. The prices are fair and reasonable especially at lunch. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Had to write another review. The food has always been very good here even if their early hours are a bit weird. They are changing ownership at the end of the month and will close for renovations. Good bye :(

The freshness and quality of the sushis is always good as is the tempura. Service is efficient and friendly.
