I needed sweets for a family Xmas dinner & saw the Koreatown store had the only Isabella store that had Dec25 hours for pickup. I went to the store weekend before Xmas q& asked the store associate if they were open Christmas. The associate assured me they were. I made a $45 online purchase of a dozen donuts for Dec25 afternoon pick up. Dec 23 I receive a call canceling my order as the store would be closed Dec 25. I phoned the Koreatown store to inquire when I would receive my refund. The response was 5 business days. Having not received a refund, I phoned the # on the website (Queen St store), & the person there said it takes 5 TO 10 business days. It's now PAST 10 business days with no refund in my account. The IG DM just regurgitated the same info that I see when I look up my order online, I.e. refund issued on Dec 23. There is no offer of follow up re. the delay. The service is really poor. They are not interested in building good relationships with their customers. Their donuts are very hit & miss. Thank goodness Patisserie Royale was open Dec 25 - reliable, quality, customer service oriented. Isabella's in Koreatown has been a disappointment. Never going back as I just got cheated out of $45!!! Caution to the public to not count on this business as they publish false hours AND they cannot be trusted to honour online purchases / refunds. I'm still waiting for a refund & it's been more than 10 business days. SHAME !!!

I personally was not a big fan of the mochi donut. I thought the one I got was a bit bland and lacked flavours. Considering the price, I didn’t think the value was all too good. Overall very average.

Eating Isabella’s mochi donut is like biting into a delightful mix of crispy and chewy texture, with flavors that are both inventive and not overly sweet- perfect for a unique treat that’s just right for sharing.

The perfect treat for any occasion. I had never tried anything like these and immediately fell in love. I can’t stop thinking about the perfect texture and I don’t think any other donut could come close. The flavours were unique but executed flawlessly - we tried and LOVED black sesame yuzu, passion fruit guava, and ube. These are a MUST try… so what are you waiting for?!

I prefer these over marry me mochi’s donuts. These are super fresh and chewy/doughy and the flavours taste authentic! Just super expensive :(
