Jimmy’s has a nice aesthetic, but mediocre coffee prepared by a somewhat impersonal barista who seems to throughly not enjoy her job. With so many good spots in Toronto, with great coffee served in mugs and properly poured milk in lattes, I’d skip Jimmy’s.

Jimmy’s is always a solid choice for good coffee, and this location is no exception. I visited around 9:00 on a weekday and found a long line. It felt like the team wasn’t fully set up to handle the morning rush, and the stress showed in the staff’s attitude, which made the visit less enjoyable.
Another small drawback is the lack of a condiment station. You have to ask the barista for sugar or anything extra, which is inconvenient when they are already busy making drinks.
Despite these issues, my latte was very well crafted. I still appreciate the quality Jimmy’s is known for, and I hope this location can improve the flow during peak hours.

There is clear tension between baristas and generally very strange vibe. Loud jokes are supposed to make up for mediocre service and a coffee order that was not made correctly TWICE... After she remade it first time, I grabbed it and we sat down, took a sip and realized it's still wrong (had regular milk vs soy). Had to throw it out as I wasn't going to ask again. My friend's order also wasn't correct but she wasn't going to ask for another one as the situation was becoming absurd.
They need much better CS and actually focus on working vs goofing around.
Good place to work and great coffee. Unfortunately none of the power outlets work. So, it was a hassle as my laptop battery died. 😞

Asked for 2 cream and 2 sugar, staff misheard it and just added 2 sugar. There were creams and milk displayed on the front so I went ahead and did it myself (how it usually works in coffee shops).The lady barista said to me for future reference we’ll do it and turned to the other customer and said It’s the germs? And proceeded to wash it right in front of me. I would assume one would wear hair nets and/or gloves if germs was a concerning issue but no one working there had it. This was so incredibly offensive, there’s definitely better ways to communicate things/put signs. First and last time in this store
