In Toronto's London-like weather, I noticed the renovated Park Hyatt while strolling through Yorkville and decided to drop by for a warm drink. However, they didn't have hot chocolate at their rooftop restaurant on the 17th floor. So, I came back down to Joni and enjoyed a delicious cup of frothy hot chocolate recommended by Barsha.

Brunch at Park Hyatt is an absolute must-do experience in Toronto. Rahman gave us exceptional recommendations and we were able to sample a variety of their brunch dishes. The Crème Brûlée French Toast was a standout dish that is an absolute must-try. And their cocktails are just as great! Joni Restaurant at Park Hyatt is truly a hidden gem with top notch service.

Great food but service very slow- apparently they start making the food after you have ordered but that took nearly an hour. The food was very good but that was a little too long to wait.

The brunch menu here is actually not bad, I like it so much that we came back 2 other times. However, they messed up the dish that I like on both the occasions when we went back. The hash was either burnt or not cooked at all. Plus the fact that when I asked if the orange juice was freshly squeezed the first time, they said yes. Then when I got the juice on my second visit, they told me that it was bought from somewhere else. I guess that I should have asked if it was freshly squeezed in house.. Overall, really good ingredients and the service is good. However, the cooking could be improved and the food took forever to arrive even when the dining area wasn’t super busy. But probably the best hotel brunch that I’ve had in a while.

I came here twice for the afternoon tea and it was a delightful experience . The food was beyond delicious and good portion size. We got a table near the fire place and the atmosphere was very warm. Will recommend it to my friends and will definitely come again.

Yesterday we celebrated Valentine's day at Joni's. We love Park Hyatt restaurants and when were were advised that it will be prefixed menu instead of experiences or a LA Carte at 120 per person we did not think a moment and reserved our tableTo our immense disappointment, minus excellent service, the menu that consisted of three courses choice of appetizers and main course and two deserts was absolutely terrible! It was very small and halibut was salty I returned it but new one arrived just as salty and looked like it was pre cooked before and from frozen fish!. Two deserts were not tasty very small. We had to load up on bread not to stay hungry. My husband had to order a salad to keep him not hungry! at around 6. 30 a horrible singer came and what came out of her mouth could not even be considered singing!We are very disappointed!

I got the smoked salmon crepes. So salty I couldn’t taste anything beyond the salt. Sauce was gross. Crepes were not fresh at all. Feeling very nauseous.
We went here for winterlicious, and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing, the ambience was cozy, and we will definitely be coming back again because the service just made it complete

We had winterlicious menu at the dinner. Service was excellent. The receptionist help us to accommodate our balloons (it is not allowed in the restaurant) by placing us on a table at the far end. She also brought in 2 little tables for us to place our handbags and stuff with a great smile. We had one member who did not have appetite to take the 3 course meal and the waiter let her choose a dish from the regular menu instead. Just wait a little bit too long between the dishes (as the kitchen prepare everything from fresh).

My last experience was tainted by finding hair in my food and effected my view on my multiple visits.Unfortunately, the manager's handling of the situation was quite disappointing. It's disheartening as it negatively impacted my appetite and the enjoyable night I had hoped for. Caution is advised for future visits.
