This is long overdue, however I had been meaning to try this restaurant for over 3 years, unfortunately time wasn’t of the essence haha. Finally tried it December 30th and I was amazed. I went on a Tuesday when they have their platter special and the waitress Demi and Alex helped squeeze an available table for me to eat. The owner of the restaurant, made great convo with me and treated me as if I was one of his own! He gave me a free glass of wine just out of love. Will definitely be back with my friends and family on a Tuesday. The portion size of the food made so much sense and still had some leftover to take home!! Amazing location and restaurant cheers to them

Disappointing experience at Jule’s Bistro. Tried their Tuesday special steak, ordered a medium rare with a side of fries and Caesar salad. An hour later (after eating 2 scallops for $20), we were served with a well steak with a side of freezer fries and cold grated Parmesan on some lettuce leaves.
Shocking to me that at a time where every place is doing beef tallow fries, a steak & frites place like Jule’s opted for freezer fries. The steak, as mentioned, was very overcooked and the salad was terrible. The “bar top” next to us got their food way before we did even though we had arrived first. The only redeeming factor was the lively atmosphere and the pre-chilled pint.
Very disappointing experience for an overhyped spot.

I was there for my birthday couple weeks ago. My expectations were high based on the reviews. I had a fish plate which was great. My partner had the steak and fries which was ok but he had better ones in other French rest. My daughter like the burguer but was not impres. The server was helpful but I was dissapointed that she did not bring me a slice of cake considering I told her it was my birthday.

I loved the vegetarian French onion soup. It’s uncommon to find a vegetarian version and it was so warm and rich.
Service was great.
The only minor negative feedback is the cocktails were fine so I’d stick with wine and the tv at the bar was a bit off for a bistro. It changed the vibe.

Still one of my favourite spots. Food is refined but not pretentious. Portions are good. Wine list is sophisticated but tight.
Update nov 6 2025: quite busy, seemed understaffed, owner was bussing tables. Sat at the bar and service wasn't quite as snippy as I've become accustomer to. Lots of wait time between courses so we skipped dessert. Won't change how much I go, though. Still great.
Went in for the Tuesday special 50% off its Côte de Boeuf and WOW what an experience. The fries were incredible and the salad was perfect, the STEAK 11/10. Cooked and seasoned to perfection, everything simple just done right.
The portions were also 11/10 we finished everything on our board, it wasnt too much or too little it was just the most perfect meal ive had in ages.
Will definitely be back to explore more of their menu and wine selection.

Food was bomb, service was even better! They don’t have the typical iced-tea, but if you wanted something even better ask Jessica (I think her name is) and it’ll be some of the best homemade iced tea you’ll ever have!
