I'm pretty sure they can do better. The turon sugar is supposed to be like caramel in color. I had to throw most of it away. There was too much wrapping to banana ratio. I don't know why he even served this to me. No one would want to eat a mouthful of burnt sugar. Had I seen this prior to receiving it. I would not have accepted this. I had a lot of turons around the GTA and these were the worst. It's totally unacceptable.

When I saw that they had lumpia - I had to try it. 10pc of lumpia was $5.95, it was good though I didn't expect it to be so short. However, a must try is their Calamansi iced tea. THAT WAS 10/10, not too sweet, not bitter, it was perfect. I would say it's better than Nestea. It was $3.50 for 12oz, which isn't too bad, but that is something I will come back here for ??

For an All you can eat buffet, the food came out in trickles which made the dining experience anti-climactic. We arrived at 11:10am and the buffet table had caldereta and dinuguan that had been sitting for a while as the sauce had already settled and formed, while the rest of the food were still being prepared. Flavor was ok but not like how it would taste back home. The redeeming moment for Kanto was their server Kat who showed exemplary service and Filipino hospitality as she would check on every table who were waiting and offer coffee, water or an Ube pancake and also update everyone when food is about to come out. I hope this improves and looking forward to a better experience.

Came here Sunday for their brunch. Very little selection. There was no ube pancakes, cakes, ice cream???? The little food they had tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. I came at around 1pm and the buffet brunch is from 11am to 7pm. Not worth the

I went for their all u can eat brunch buffet and I enjoyed the food! It was around $30 (plus tip) and there was a decent selection including lechon, pancit, lumpia, jeprox, and a few pork dishes I dont know the name of. They also had deep fried chicken which was surprisingly good! They had these glutinous ube mini buns which were my fav. There was coffee included as well. The dining area is modest and casual, almost like cafeteria style, and i imagine it can be quite crowded during peak hours (we went after 1pm as a party of 5 and were fortunate to have the place mostly to ourselves).

I ordered catering service /delivered by UBER o Easter Sunday April 2023. Vegetarian Bihon Noodles, Vegetarian spring rolls, Deep fried calamariand Pinakbet. Service was on time, delivered hot, Food is Delicious,True Pinoy, esp. the calamari is so good. Very pleasant and friendly Chef Diona on the phone.. Clearly specified, Strict Vegetarian due to Meat allergy, Voila, it was DONE.No meat broth, strictly vegetarian broth. No meat contamination in cooking oils used. We were pleased! Thank you Tita Flips.

I am not happy with the service when we were there one Sunday afternoon. The service is bad and most of the food were cold. Please improve your service specially during weekend. Lechon not crispy at all.Iced Tea was diabetically sweet and where is the calamari.Upgrade your system of cooking and service. Other foods are just trying hard.Another thing the floor was dirty.Hello are you deaf from ugly comments.

We ordered the Kanto Fiesta Cake and the Original Kamayan Kits from the Dundas location to bring to a friend's wedding. When I went to pick up the dishes I was told that they hadn't started cooking them yet, nearly fours hours after placing the order (plus a follow up call to confirm that it would be ready on time as I would be traveling across the city for the wedding). I was frustrated and cancelled my order, but went back to the restaurant. The staff assured me that if I placed the order again they would deliver it across the city and have it there on time for the event. And they did! And it was incredible. The Fiesta Cake was fatty and perfectly cooked, the noodles in the Kamayan had guests coming back for multiple refills. I admit that I originally was extremely frustrated that I wasn't given a heads up on the delay (and I do believe Kanto needs to communicate better with their customers), but I was very appreciative of the efforts they took to rectify the situation. And to make unbelievably tasty food. I also highly recommend these dishes.

Placed a big order on their website (not a delivery app) and got confirmation for pickup and everything and when we arrived the place was closed.Called the number attached to the location and they said that the store was closed and wasn’t supposed to take orders - even though we placed the order earlier in the day and was sent a confirmation text. They offered to make the order at their other location but it’s at the other side of town, 25-30 mins away. Cancelled the order and hope to be refunded.Hopefully next time they’re more aware of people being able to order on their own website when the location is closed - or better yet, call ahead to see if they’re open and will take your order cause this was a mess and we left with no food. Won’t probably try again unless if by the off chance close by instead of ordering ahead.

Round 1: Very friendly. The sigsig was really great -- a nice combination of different meat textures. The fries well match the grilled/fried bits of pork, except that overall this snack is a little greasy for a hot summer day... I personally think it would be nicer if this dish can pair with some pickles or veggies.Round 2: I tried the Tapsilog today. I had a high expectation, but the beef today was a bit too salty and too dry. Also, as a lunch box costing almost $17, the portion was a bit small.

Went to all u can eat on Sunday with visitors from Michigan .Good presentation ( in kawali) of variety of Fil food . Staff were super accommodating. The crispy lechon was great , paksiw na lechon, did not care for d laing but that’s personal choice . Wish there was chicken adobo instead of fried chicken, & some salad. So much to choose from . Our guests were happy to try . Unfortunately, d air conditioning was so bad on a hot day but it made one feel like in d Philippines ( ha ha!)Thanks for d experience…
