Gushi (Dundas W x Bathurst) Reviews
Honestly, so fricken good.
I recommend everything, never had a bad meal ordering from Gushi.
It's one of the best current hidden gems in Toronto. The orignial chicken with purple rice is our all time favourite, but you can't go wrong with any choice. The chicken is plump, juicy, and has a delicious crispy skin. A must try!
This place was amazing, I got the original and it was delicious! The chicken was moist, and tender and the rice was so flavourful, I can’t wait to go back and bring others to try it! And the service was fast!

Gushi, located in the fleet of shipping containers outside of Toronto General Western/West Hospital, is an Authentic Japanese restaurant. It has no dedicated seating, but there are shared picnic tables depending on the season. Gushi has a great selection of curry dishes, mochi desserts and noodle dishes. The curry chicken and rice meal is SO good, with flavourful curry and fresh, juicy chicken. The karaage is a signature dish; the batter is unique, and the pieces are the biggest seen. The original karaage is legit one of the most delicious tasted. The curry is okay, not bad. The portion is decent at such a price. Overall, for the price, it is really good street food that will keep you warm on a cold day.
