This is the best Sushi place I have ever went to and I order from them almost weekly and the service and food are great! The service is always so pleasant too and the staffs are very very very nice! I love going to this place and pick up my food.

I had a very unexpected and disappointing experience. I went last week (wed or Thursday) for the first time. About 1PM.
The place was empty. Not the usual reception at the front to review a menu but there was a refrigerator to grab some pre-packaged sushi. I grabbed something and then someone appeared to take my payment with a handheld terminal. I tapped then sat down to eat.
After I opened my lunch, chopsticks and poured the soy pack on my sushi was I informed I couldn’t eat there… it was not for take away that I had already purchased..
Hmm disappointing considering the place was mostly empty and they waited before telling me I couldn’t eat there. Maybe it’s the ethiquette and I should have known better despite lack of signage and a slightly different dining experience… it looked like a cafeteria.
Terrible service, experience and as a result I didn’t enjoy the food. Probably ok… but the treatment upset me. I probably will not return.

The cash and carry yam/avocado roll is delicious. Unfortunately that is the only option for people who don't eat meat and it's not very filling! It would be great if they added another option such as the avocado inari roll to the cash and carry options.

I love the maki set B from Kibo, however this location did not live up to the standard. The salmon was smelled and tasted off. Won’t be coming back for sure!

Kibo, on Parliament St., is one of the few small Japanese restaurants that offers, true, one of my favourite dishes, but also one of the best Japanese dishes, in my opinion...Chirashi Don...simplicity in perfection...the staff, kitchen, also as waiting staff, add charm to it...they communicate, recognize the regular guest, even though I visited 5-6 times now ...how should I say it...a small, but perfect symphony in ones mouth, makes you close your eyes, and just simply enjoy the taste...Oh, and KIBO's salad dressing, is a BOMB!!!

Truly amazing food but the service is bad.
We ordered food for take out and when we arrived not ready for pick up. My daughter was very hungry so I decided to get her the to go california roll. I asked nicely the waitress (skinny hair pony tail) if we can eat the sushi while we wait for our order and she said that we cant seat down as we are eating food for take out. I responded to her and said our food its not ready for pick up and I just wanted to feed my child cause she’s hungry. This was not the first time I have encountered this rudeness from the waitress. Honestly, the place was even empty and no customer was there but us.
I hope the owner of this Kobe sushi location will be able to read this review.

None of the fish is fresh. I know to avoid spicy tuna, rolls with fish sliced on top, not to order rolls that might be popular enough to keep lying around a while, etc. but even that isn't enough to avoid funky tasting sushi. It's every Kibo at this point. Prices certainly aren't low enough to justify the sacrifice.
We had a small home party and ordered bossam along with a sushi set from Kibosushi. Even though it was delivery, everything was so fresh and incredibly delicious! Everyone kept asking where we ordered from — they were that impressed. It was such a satisfying dinner, and I’ll definitely be ordering again next time. Thank you for making such amazing food!
Visited late Friday afternoon for a snack. The place wasn't so busy with just two tables occupied, although two more patrons visited within the half hour. The staff were friendly and I soon placed my order. The deep fried gyoza were pretty good. Comparatively good value for money. The house sake was inexpensive and acceptable too. Observing the offerings other diners had picked the presentation looked good. Facilities were well maintained and clean.

Yes, Kibo is a chain but, I 100% believe this is the best place to order from. Everything is consistently fresh. Sushi is 10/10. Atmosphere could be better but, service is good.
We always order takeout here. The food is consistently great!
The food is consistent and good but also consistent is there slowness. Takeout orders are rarely ready in the window provided and often not read even when you get a text that it’s ready
If you are always behind, time to figure out a change
We do the love boat take out all the time and it is so delicious. It’s a must try.
