Been going to this location for a couple of years now…have a business myself on queen -what I don’t understand is y the level of quality is so inconsistent at this location…today I spent 49 for 2 meals -a bento box and a bento with tempura -the food is disgusting -the teriyaki sauce is so thick and the beef doesn’t taste the way it should, the sauce feels clumpy and salty. The Liberty location I tried a week ago is night and day different from this location. Threw half the food away what a waste. Not going back to this location anymore!

The squid kaarage was delicious I also had the dynamite rolls which were pretty good? such a cute date spot, lots of pop uplifting music, and around 6 pm it gets super busy with online orders.

Ordered takeout and waitress walked away everytime i tried to order, sat at the end of a booth to wait in a fully empty restaurant and when someone walked in she glared at me silently until i got up confused then seated them where i was sitting instead of like ... sny of the other empty booths?? ? tfEditing to respond. The server djdnt asked me anything. The one person behind me was doing the same as me waiting for takeout. We exchanged an awkward look as she saw what happened and then she also got up. The server said no words to me and glared at me instead, walked away when i trisd to order, handed me my takeout and turned around without saying a word. If you respond to a review to apologize dont lie about your servers actions...

I liked this place, but last time I went I got treated so bad. I was with a girl and although the restaurant was empty, we couldn’t sit in the table we wanted, they put us in the small tables. When I asked for the bill and paid, the waitress confronted me for not giving tip. Let me tell you something: Tip is not mandatory in Canada, you are literally paid to do your job. You didn’t even refill our glasses of water while we were sitting. She asked if there was something wrong with us for not paying tip? what a disrespect you lost a client

Ordered take out and it came in a nice box, the small soy sauce trays were a nice touch. The sushi was super fresh and delicious even though we ordered at night. Definitely going to order again. One of the best places I’ve ordered

The donburri bowls are the most underrated things here. Both the salmon and chirashi bowls are show stoppers. Highly

We were in Toronto to catch a show on College street. We came here before hand to have some sushi and a couple beers and we were both blown away. A small intimate space with wonderful food and service.Wheelchair accessibility: The only concern would be that the bathrooms are located downstairs making it not accessible to those with wheelchairs

I go to often this restaurant. Every time I go, their food is always delicious and fresh(especially salmon and tuna). And the plating is really beautiful. I love their Maki and tempura too. I always have a good time in here?

My partner and I started enjoying sushi from this location after moving close by in 2020. At one point, this was our go-to takeout order every Friday because of how fresh and satisfying it was. Despite moving closer to the Liberty Village location, we continued to order from College because it was far better. We have given Kibo one too many chances to return to the quality it once was. Our sushi was dry, crumbly, and the fish did not taste flavourful or fresh. Life is hard in the restaurant industry, unfortunately I tasted that in my food.I wish the staff all the best as they are always very friendly and efficient.

Don’t ever go to this place. I got severe food poisoning. The fish smells and they aren’t hygienic .
