Run here. There should be a lineup out the door with how good everything is.
Went for the holiday AYCE special. Brought 3 other friends and ordered everything twice.
There were no bad dishes! Miraculously, everything tasted better the second time.
It's hard to even pick a winner. It might look simple in the photos, but you're missing the details. Eg: how crispy the tofu puffs were in the satay sauce. How much shrimp it took to get the sambal to be more funky than just spicy.
How much effort it took to get the hor fun that smokey.
Cold yuzu tea over hot. Personal preference here.
No pictures because we were too busy eating.
If you're Chinese, everything will taste like it's a cousin of what you're used to. But that well-off successful cousin your parents will compare you to.
And they're right 🤷🏻
Go here. Immediately. Same goes with their sister restaurant: Agak Agak

We had a great time at kiss my pans. We ordered the chicken curry on rice and beef rendang. The beef was very tender and stew was full of flavour. The curry was very fragrant and plenty of chicken and potatoes. The owner was very friendly telling us the history of the shop and helpful with explaining the menu.
The place is self serve, and felt like being back in Singapore.

We were missing the food we had in Singapore so we found this place and it did not disappoint. The kaya toast, laksa and nasi lemak we got were very flavourful and authentic!! Definitely coming back. :)

Worst service and food is low quality. Ice lemon tea in a can?! And that's supposed to be beef rendang. Also everything is self-serve and yet they ask you to tip

I was craving a hot bowl of laksa in winter, but ended up with a lukewarm noodle dish served on a plate. A bowl keeps soup warm; a plate doesn’t—just like there’s a reason we use a proper wine glass. The flavor was flat, mostly salty with a hint of fishiness, and the rice noodles were soggy.
What makes this even more disappointing is the comparison with their sister restaurant, Agak Agak. The laksa there is far more flavorful, and the egg noodles are cooked right. The difference in quality is hard to ignore.
I’m only commenting on the food, not the price, vibe, or service. Honest feedback should help a place improve, though judging by how reviews are sometimes handled, that doesn’t always seem to be the priority.
Unfortunately, based on the food alone, I wouldn’t return.
The food is not that great, I ordered in Uber, i understand the portion size because you should not eat more of that high calorie food, but it is an average food, The cold coffee is not good at all, they have shown that the dessert will have 2 peices but only one came to me. they forgot to give me spoon an fork though i requested it. overall a very poor to average expereince, may be going there physically would change my mind.

The first and most important thing I will say is that the food is great. It's flavourful, but not overly seasoned, and we've never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. We eat Asian food in Markham/Richmond Hill regularly, and the flavours here are comparable. The recurring theme in the reviews of high prices and small portions is probably because others are ALSO eating in the suburbs. We are a little more forgiving, because we can appreciate there is a price to pay for having the food in downtown Toronto. The premium to save us from driving 45 minutes each way can be justified when we have a craving and no time! Most people I know who love Asian food don't really expect great service, so I think the self-serve thing is totally acceptable and like it. That same group is looking for value and really quality food though, so I do think just making a bowl of Laksa the same size as a small bowl of Pho is not a crazy expectation even by downtown Toronto standards.

I was really excited to try Kiss my pans for authentic Singaporean food. And was it worth the wait - I’m not entirely sure.
I think my biggest comment here would be pricing. Prices are too high for the food and overall experience.
On average dishes cost 25 to 30 dollars - which above average cost. Typically a high price point comes with service, a place that offers alcohol, larger qty or a unique dining experience.
While the qty was decent (not in line with price), its a self serve family style restaurant
The flavours were good but honestly the price threw me off - I wouldn’t make the effort to go again.

My friend took me to this place and it’s top notch Singaporean food. It’s my first time trying kaya toast (which I always wanted to) and it was amazing!!

The kaya toast was excellent but really thought the appetizer sampler thing was a big let down. Not sure if I would go back. I had higher hopea

No table service and you have to order and pay at the counter, pick up food and even water by yourself and they ask you for tips (I give them 15% before I realize that I have to service myself everything). The food is just like premade food. Compared to other southeast Asian restaurants such as pai (a Thai restaurant) or any other normal vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant has much less portion and higher price.

One of my favorite meals in recent memory!!! must try
Overpriced and underwhelming. The laksa was flat and lacked the bold, rich punch it should have had. The roti was decent—crisp and fluffy—but even the chicken curry, while flavorful, couldn’t justify the tiny portions.
Downtown Toronto might not have many Singaporean/Malaysian options, but that doesn’t excuse serving small plates at premium prices. For what you pay, the food should either pack real flavor or arrive in proper portions. This place does neither.
