We used Kwento for our wedding last year. They delivered a beautiful, classic-looking cake, which was exactly what we wanted. The Citrus Olive Oil flavour was amazing, so many guests complimented it! Overall, Kwento was amazing to work with, especially Maria!

We had our wedding cake made by Kwento and were so happy with how it turned out! We sent some inspiration photos along with our wedding colour palette and picked a flavour (salted caramel). The cake was delivered on time and we were thrilled with the look of it. People ate it so quickly we didn’t even get to pack up a slice for our first anniversary!

I was such a big fan of Kwento ( thru instagram) but unfortunately will never order from here again ! The dark hair Asian girl who works at the front in the new location ( helping out the owner) was rude and confidently said that my birthday cake wasn’t ready without even talking to the owner . Mind you we came all the way from Markham to pick up the cake downtown. She stated to come back tomorrow ! We almost left but the owner came with the cake at the front without an apology or anything. It’s very disorganized and the new girl needs to improve her organization and customer service skills.

Tried the ube cupcake at Kwento and it was so delicious! The flavor of the ube really came through. It not too sweet, earthy, and perfectly balanced. The texture was soft and moist, and the frosting was just the right amount of creamy without being too heavy.
What really stood out, aside from the flavor, was the presentation. Each cupcake is decorated with so much care’ seriously, they’re almost too cute to eat (almost!). You can tell there’s real love and creativity behind every treat.
There were so many other desserts I wanted to try, so I’ll definitely be coming back. Kwento is such a charming little spot, a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth 😋🫶🏻

I lovee my cake!! I had sent a few inspiration photos from their insta and communicated with them on what they could do. I originally wanted to add fresh flowers, but could not fit them into my budget, so I really love and appreciated that they piped some flowers to my cake 🥲 it's as whimsical and fun as I hoped it would be although, I do wish there was more pink.
My only issue is that after responding to my initial email they ghosted me for a week, and even took a few more days to respond to my follow up email! I thought that I wasn't going to be able to get a cake from them, but I'm grateful I did. She's a beaut!

Purchased cupcakes twice from this bakery and while the flavours are good the texture is very dry. I thought the first time was a fluke but even a second time it was the same. My sister did a cake tasting and she had the same issue with dryness. It doesn’t seem to be a quality issue maybe it’s just a different kind of recipe

As per a recommendation by a friend, I opted to try them out for my daughter’s 1st birthday. We got an ube fringe cake which was so beautifully decorated but also absolutely delicious. Delivery was very smooth and on time. I definitely hope to visit their actual store one day and to try some of their other cakes in the future. Maraming salamat, Kwento! 🙏🏽
