The restaurant is small and quaint. Loved the music. I ordered bean soup. It was too salty. I ordered the red cabbage coleslaw and an avocado salad and both of those were delicious! I would go again to try something new. The service was good with waitresses checking on us and food didnt take too long to arrive. The waitresses were very friendly as well. They played Latin music and it was such a nice and relaxing lunch. Good vibes and I strongly recommend it.

Came here for a walk-in lunch on a Friday and was very happy with the decision. The setting is bright and well decorated with great music. The service was lovely. I was pleased to find vegetarian options. We got the bean soup, conch fritters, glazed squid, beef sandwich, and brioche with guava jam. The in house hot sauce was very good.

the pork belly medianoche had many thick slabs of salty, savoury meat, and i loved the bites with the crispy skin and juicy fat. the pork was necessarily dRY, but it did feel a bit overly lean/tough in some parts — not the most tender or moist pork belly i’ve had. the slaw was crunchy and added a really unique sweetness, and the juices were dripping everywhere and absolutely DRENCHED the entire sandwich — the bottom bun got all soaked and soggy. i also really liked the slightly sweet potato bun.
i really recommend the conch fritters because they were super yummy and unique and i’ve never had anything like it!! they were hot, fresh, and the inside was really dense and doughy, and it tasted really good with that tangy mayo/aioli-like sauce.
the donuts were fresh, with a slight crunchy outside sprinkled with cinnamon sugar ALLLLL over. the fried oiliness was balanced really well by the sweet, milky cream and rich, caramel-y dulce de leche syrup that it was served with.
the mango colada was sugary and a bit creamy, but honestly it was mostly ice and i wouldn’t say it was worth $7.

Had a really lovely experience here. Our server, Marianna, was incredible. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and it made the whole experience feel special.
The food was great as well, fresh and flavourful, and everything came out just right. Overall, such a positive visit. Would definitely come back, especially if Marianna is around! 🙂

Got it delivered through Uber. I got the rib sandwich with jalapeños And the Cuban sandwich (I added ketchup on my own). Omg both sandwiches tasted great! They are very generous with the meat portion in both sandwiches. Definitely would order again! AMAZING
