One of the few places that would take a reservation for brunch on the weekend, we were very excited for Laissez Faire. We arrived a little before our 11am reservation, and since they didn't open until that time, we waited with a few others. They opened the door promptly at 11 and we were seated in a very nice spot where we could see the whole room as well as the kitchen. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Espresso martini was on-point, as was the mimosa. No bottomless bevies here, but there was no disappointment in the pours. The food was delicious. Very well made and Intagram pretty. Wifey had the avocado toast, which was not shy with the avocado. I had the traditional breakfast, which had some wonderful jalepeño and cheese sausages that were wonderful. All in all, it was a lovely brunch and we left very happy and full. We even splurged on their cheesecake dessert and it truly hit the spot. Highly recommend, especially for couples or small groups, We hope to visit again sometime soon.

Aaron the bouncer saved my night. I’d gotten pickpocketed at the club and using find my we tracked the location of my phone. Even though Aaron did not have to, he accompanied us to get my phone and chased down the people who had stolen it. He is the GOAT - he truly saved the night and my phone. I can’t thank him enough for everything that he’s done - this man deserves all the raises in the world. ?

The food and overall experience was very good. Stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered eggs benedict for the first time which was not to my liking at all so ordered the pancakes instead and they were delicious. We enjoyed our mimosas and the abundant natural lighting & decor was beautiful. We'll definitely be back. Would recommend being specific on the menu about what kind of sausage you're serving because we ordered it thinking it'd be normal breakfast sausage and were surprised to find it stuffed with cheese (which I'm allergic to) when we bit into it.

Let me start by recounting my journey to Laissez Faire – an adventure that began with a traffic ticket. Despite the initial hiccup, the promise of exceptional cuisine lured me forward. And oh, was it worth it! Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavour.But what truly elevated my dining experience was the impeccable service. Our waiter, whose name escapes me was a consummate professional with a flair for hospitality. Attentive without being intrusive, he guided us through the menu with expert recommendations and a genuine passion for the culinary arts. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be visiting it again.

After Fitz from "Locals Only" highly recommended trying out their happy hour menu we went upstairs. Holly was amazing in terms of friendliness, service and charming personality. 5 STARS for her. The food was delicious and we highly recommend the Beef tartar and Gnocchi.
We always have a great time!! This place is always super welcoming and we keep on returning !! One of the best places in King west. The staff are top notch are uber friendly. We have our favs - Sydney & Eric / but all are super and very attentive. Generous pours and generous yummy portions. Your tummy will be happy. It's a perfect 10!
From the moment we stepped in, the service was exceptional. The tea and americano provided a delightful kick-off to our experience. The traditional breakfast exceeded expectations, with generously portioned dishes. The sausage, stuffed with cheese and impeccably seasoned, was a standout, and the bacon was cooked to perfection. While we typically frequent later in the day for their scrumptious cocktails and lively ambiance, brunch has now won us over as well! We'll definitely be returning for more brunch adventures in the future.
