What an amazing experience. for my second time trying habesha cuisine, this place knocked it out the ball park. Very kind employees with a vibrant atmosphere. The food was seasoned amazingly and the coffee was out of this world. If you’re looking to dine at this place, the injera is where it’s at!

Cosy place with good ethopian food, good smiling person working there.
By far the best lamb I've ever had. Lamb was fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended 👌

We came with family and friends expecting a nice evening, but instead we were treated with complete disrespect. I ordered kofte well-done and it was served almost raw. When I politely asked to replace it, the waitress refused, argued with me, and said I still had to pay for a dish we could not eat. Even after I explained that my wife cannot eat raw meat, there was no understanding.
In the end, we were charged for food we did not touch. The waitress even said this was done under the owner’s instructions. This ruined our evening, and as regular customers we are very disappointed. We will not return, and people should know this is how they treat guests.

My second time here, brilliant place for a good simple Ethiopian meal. The vegan injera platter is amazing and worth every cent.
Definitely will keep coming here

The food was tasty and fresh, and the service was decent. However, I felt the prices were a bit too high for what you get. Overall, good quality but not the best value for the money.
Beautiful place with nice customer service

Absolutely phenomenal! Lalibela Cuisine is a true gem on the Danforth. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and the rich aroma of authentic Ethiopian spices. The vibe is calm, cultural, and full of heart.
I had the Zilzil Tibs and vegetarian platter, and every bite was bursting with flavor. You can tell they prepare everything with care—fresh injera, perfectly seasoned dishes, and portions that leave you fully satisfied. The honey wine (tej) was also a unique touch you don’t find everywhere!
Whether you’re new to Ethiopian food or a longtime lover, Lalibela will impress you. I’ve already brought a few friends back and they were blown away too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious food, culture, and great service.
Will definitely be returning again and again! 🇪🇹🔥🍴
