About San Sivar

San Sivar offers authentic Salvadorian cuisine with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Customers enjoy the Chicken Tamal, Yuca Frita, Chicharron, Pork and Cheese Pupusa, slaw, horchata, and coffee. The sauces are also popular. The Pupusas are crispy, and the Platanos con Frijoles y Crema is highly recommended. Many customers find the food tastes just like home, especially enjoying the beef soup, tamales, and refried beans. The restaurant is known for its lively environment where everyone speaks Spanish, creating an inviting setting. It is an amazing spot, praised for being fresh and full of flavor. Take-out is available and provides delicious food at a reasonable price, with Pupusas staying hot during the drive home. While parking can be tricky, the overall experience remains positive. Some customers suggest that service could improve, especially on weekends when additional staff would be helpful. Despite this, San Sivar continues to be a great spot for filling up on Salvadorian favorites, with many looking forward to returning.

These are the best pupusas in Toronto, for the best price. Too many 6 something dollar pupusas, no thanks.

They were at St. Clair and Runnymede before, replaced by another gentrified Salvadorean place with much higher prices, but now they're back on St. Clair between Old Weston and Hounslow Heath.

Portions are good, the food is hot and tasty always, and the owners and staff are all very friendly and accommodating.

Happy that they're back and even closer to...read full review

My boyfriend and I love this place. We go frequently for their breakfast (all day) and it always satisfies. Good coffee ! Amazing plantains. We also get the pupusas and they hit the spot as well.

Stumbled upon this place by accident and I am so glad! I’ve been searching for authentic Central American food since I moved to Toronto and this place tastes just like home. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

I’ll be visiting often now!
