Had an excellent meal here. Best French cuisine I've had to date. The only criticism was that our waiter wasnt as knowledgeable about the wine how ever this was incredibly minor and know had we pressed they would have fetched some one else.

We came here for Saturday brunch and had such a great time! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the whole atmosphere made our visit really fun ,definitely a good choice.
A special shout-out to the two Arab guys (didn’t catch their names). They were both incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you for making our brunch even better!

Brunch was perfection and service was attentive without being too disruptive. #1 French bistro in Toronto.
It breaks my heart to say this, but one of my longtime favorite French bistros has completely lost its magic. The place that once felt warm, comforting, and consistently delicious now feels like it’s going through the motions.
My onion soup, which used to be rich and full of flavor, came out utterly tasteless no depth, no warmth, just a bland broth that didn’t resemble the classic at all. The mussels were tiny, overly salty, and honestly a struggle to enjoy.
The service didn’t help either. Our server she kept forgetting what we asked for, barely checked on us, and seemed distracted the entire time.
It’s sad to watch a place you loved for so long slip this far, and I wish the experience had lived up to the memories.

Paris in the city. Great service and food in a stylish lively spot. Steak was perfectly cooked, with a extensively wine list.
As French people, we loved finding such great French products abroad. Amazing service, and the birthday gesture for my friend really touched us. We highly recommend this place !

Service and ambience great-food was disappointing enough for us to post the review here.
Probably the best french style bistro in the city for breakfast, brunch or dinner. Love the interior design, very beautiful

Visited for a weekend brunch. This is a nice chic restaurant for French cuisine! Really enjoyed their french onion soup as well as escargots. Service was great and everything arrived quickly!

The escargot and drinks were phenomenal - beyond expectations. The tagliatelle was amazing and the steak frites were pretty good, but underwhelming as I hear it being the staple dish, but I thought their other dishes were better. It took a bit long to get to the table (30 min). We ordered a cheese platter and we loved it. Overall I would have given it a 4.5.
Lovely location with a great ambience and excellent service. Unfortunately, the food doesn't measure up. The hors d'oeuvres were fine (we had the beef tartare and red wine poached pears) but the main courses were very disappointing. The mussels were the smallest I've seen served in a restaurant - although the sauce was lovely, but we had to send the bone marrow back twice. Both times it was undercooked to the point of being pink and cold. It's unfathomable that a well-regarded restaurant would make a mistake like that twice. We were there for a 50th birthday celebration so preferred not to make a fuss and ruin the evening completely, but left very disappointed.
Delicious food. I had the bouillabaisse and it was great. We started with the pain au lait which was warm and delicious, and some olives which were also warm and great. Staff is professional and dressed well. Restaurant is cozy and has a nice vibe..perfect place to be on a cold night. In a sea of bad restaurants this classic French restaurant is a beacon of light. I highly recommend.
I visited this French restaurant last night and wanted to share my honest experience. The service was truly outstanding — the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and having parking available in the back was definitely a bonus.
The drinks were excellent, and our appetizer (scallops) was absolutely delicious — cooked perfectly and full of flavor. At this point, I was expecting a great meal overall.
Unfortunately, the main dish — the steak frites — was extremely disappointing. It was honestly the worst steak I have ever had. The meat tasted strange, almost artificial, and had a very odd flavor profile that didn’t resemble a typical cut of beef. It was extremely chewy, under-seasoned (there wasn’t even a pinch of salt), and completely tasteless.
I ordered the steak medium, but it arrived almost medium-raw. I asked for it to be cooked a bit more, and when it came back, it was still cold and didn’t seem any different. The staff were so kind that I didn’t want to raise the issue again, so I just tried to eat it — but it was honestly difficult to chew and not enjoyable at all.
