Reservation was not recognized right away, then very slow service for over priced cocktails. Would not go back.
The food was very good. Unfortunately the music level was unbearable. We asked the server to have it turned down but the manager refused. When a new manager came in he urned it down. Having loud music play during lunch really damages the experience. I didn't go there to dance and party, I went to have a pleasant lunch with my wife.
One of my favourite spots in the city for cocktails and food. Great spot to visit with clients, or with friends.
My wife and I stopped in at the Library for a quick lunch, and we each ordered soup and a plate of fries to share. We did enjoy the soup, but never received the fries. When we alerted our server to the lack of fries, he replied, "Oh God, I forgot". he said that he would do his best to get them as soon as possible, however, we declined as we were getting ready to leave. To his credit, he did comp our drinks, however, by then, our experience had been diminished by then. We left feeling somewhat disappointed, and expected better from the Royal York/Library.
We had the best lunch there with our amazing server Bria. We will definitely go back one day!
Food was great! Cocktails were very good but super slow to arrive at the table. Overall service was slow. I realize the holiday is busy but felt they needed more serving staff and perhaps bartenders and less hosts at the door.
Great old place overall but could do with bit more selection on the beer side. Nothing on tap.
Excellent service, food and drinks. The entire staff looks after guests and patrons with the utmost care.
food was delicious and so were the cocktails (although quite pricey). very loud and energetic crowd when we went. food service was extremely slow, however our server was very kind and apologetic, and they even gave us a free glass of prosecco due to the long wait time. would definitely return!
The library has an intimate feel to the restaurant, with a variety of different tables and chairs for guests to sit at. The menu has a small selection, but has interesting dishes. Service was really good.

A devine experience that devours you in the art of fine cocktail making. The ambiance and decor outstanding.
Always a great time having cocktails at Library. The seating was comfortable and the winter drink menu was very creative and delicious!
My wife and I usually attend Library Bar after work and with some colleagues. This time we attended for a post theatre cocktail with out 4 year old. Hilda was extremely welcoming and made our family feel valued. She even came to check on us once our drinks and food arrived. Our waiter was also superb. Overall, a great experience. Thank you.
Opulent and magical. The perfect spot for a business lunch or evening with friends. One of my favourites in the entire city. 🍾🥂
Went here for date night drinks and appetizers. The drinks were delicious and I loved how the cocktails had a story behind each one. We did order the mushroom kaarage. It was good but a little too salty.
