Kimchi was amazing. All the side dishes were so good and fulfilling. We ordered Korean pancakes and rice cakes and a cold noodle dish. Everything was very delicious and worth the money.

A real authentic Korean home style cooking restaurant, warm friendly staff, extensive menu on the wall.

Fantastic tasting food! I asked if they could turn down the spice and they did so perfectly. As a great bonus, the service was also wonderful.

Perfect for the "hole on the wall" Korean kitchen experience, lots of side dishes given with meal, japchae was some of the best we've had. Authentic taste ?

Wife and I had a very good dinner here last night. Like others have mentioned, the staff here is one the best. They were attentive and made sure we were comfortable. We ordered the goat soup and Korean sausage soup and enjoyed it. Portions were great, especially with the side dishes. Would definitely recommend others to come here!

I visited the Yonge-Finch location throughout years in the past with no bad experience ever, but this location was completely disaster. We walked in around 10:30pm and stood at the front reception for more than 10min with no greeting from the host at all. I can see that it was full seated at the time but the proper restaurant manner is to at least come and orient the customers, verbally letting them know they have to wait for a seat. But I got nothing, no communication at all. The host seemed to be all over the places taking orders, bills, and sending dishes, however, they did not even bother to stop by the front reception. We came for the food but shocked by the service.

This is the worst Korean restaurant I have ever been. It’s dirty and the food has bad taste. My family and I were hoping for a nice Korean food after a long trip and it was a disaster.

A bit of a funky smell in the restaurant, but I always enjoy the food here and they have a good selection on their menu. Also very reasonable prices for the portion you get (at least with the pork bone soup that I often go for!) and the inclusion of the side dishes. Local elderly Koreans also seem to frequent here too for a meal, which I would guess speaks to the authenticity of their food!

Delicious Korean food. Their pork bone soup is flavourful and they have a solid set of banchan. We went with our Korean friend and ordered the beef intestines. Though it was certainly something new, it was nice! After searing on the stove top grill, it had a nice texture/chew and they also give you dipping sauces! The restaurant owner was concerned that we wouldn't like it and was very attentive to us! She helped us cook the dish and we greatly appreciated her help, even though, it wasn't warranted. Eager to come back and try out more dishes!

Deeply wonderful. The food is homey and delicious, and they even have homemade makgeolli. This is the kind of place you take an old friend and talk for hours, getting slowly pleasantly drunk and never wanting to leave. It tastes like a friend’s mom’s food. I think about going back often. An absolute gem. I even hesitated to write this review on account of not wanting it to become too crowded!

I have to give them 5 start as the aunties there gave is the most warming service. We enjoy the rice wine and all of the food taste like home-made. I ordered alot but we were busy to eat instead of taking photo for the review. Please try their beef Bbq, pork belly BBQ, tokbokki, Stir-fried squid, fried dumpling, kimchi soup and soybean soup served with BBQ.

Both dishes we ordered (stir fried squid and pork bone soup) was absolutely amazing! As a Korean, I can say that it tasted authentic. Side dishes were also very good too!I think what elevated the entire dinner was the fact that the lady who was working there at the front was the most nicest and friendliest person I’ve ever met. She has such a kind demeanour and makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. It’s the little things that really makes your dinner experience that much more special. This restaurant will be my go to place for Korean food going forward!

Before pandemic, I had a vegetarian noodle dish which was very good. I gave 4 stars to this dish. Today I ordered a pork bone soup to go. The soup has lots of flavour however the pork bones are lack of flavour. I gave this dish 3 stars. General talking it is a ok restaurant. I may go back.

Food is not really bad but North York branch is better. The hygine is really terrible just like the other old korean restaurants in this street. I had a really bad stomach ache after I had their food and it lasted 3 days. They also give us very old and dry rice. I think this is the main issue which caused the pain. (or maybe something else?) If you don't care about it, try it. This restaurant is not recommended but the North York branch is much better!

Great korean food with a good amount of side dishes. The radish was a bit too sour but the kimchi was quite good. I got the pork bone stew and that was amazing, service is also good!
