Service was excellent but the food was pretty disappointing. If you're going to charge $35 for a plate of pasta I expect better. Could have made better food at home for $5 a serving. Save your money and go to Boston pizza or somewhere else.

Very disappointing if you want real Italian food. The menu is someone's notion of fancy culinary concoctions having nothing to do with real Italian cooking, mostly generic could-be-anything dishes. They had to Italian-sounding dishes weird. No marinara sauce of any kind anywhere! No gnocchi! No ricotta! Almost no Italian pasta dishes - everything risotto and you have to beg for some pasta off the menu! One bolognese dish with pork sausage. No cannoli for dessert. Caprese salad came out as a pink puff of razor-thin meat (prosciutto?) with a few slices of mozzarella and tomato hidden underneath. Caesar salad was ruined with garlic and chili! Saffron sauce? The best dish was a cheese plate I asked them to make up off the record, and there was no Italian cheese on it. As if Marco Polo never made it back to Italy, he got lost in some other continent. I gave it 2 stars because our server tried very hard to compensate for management.

It’s a little pricy for the amount of food but overall tasty and has good vibes for a more formal night out! Great service as

The setting is good, the service professional. A little fresh bread and very nice appetizers. Short ribs were simple and very tender and rich. Beverages are pricey and that's fine; however, the $9 sparkling water is egregious.

This place is a good spot for lunch with friends in Downtown Toronto. The staff are nice and friendly. The food is decent, but nothing extraordinary. Just so you know, they don't serve Bong olé pasta anymore.

The burrata was very disappointing for the price. The focaccia bread was way too dense and the burrata itself was minimal and grainy. The lamb pappardelle was very good, but overall very overpriced for what I got.

What a lovely stop for lunch on a cold and snow day. Pre-fixe menu included nice options and full portions. The butter sauce in the butternut squash ravioli was divine. The wild mushrooms risotto was served hot and cream perfección. The espresso mousse caused me to pause in rapture while it melted away. We seemed to be the only tourists amongst an otherwise business crowd but were most welcome. The service was attentive and courteous. Just a lovely upscale indulgent lunch.Vegetarian options: The server disclosed there was chicken brother in the soup without asking.

Came here for winterlicious for dinner. The ambiance is ok. Staff were great. The food was ok. The burrata was pretty good. Shrimp cocktail that came out were undercooked, we were unable to eat them. The staff was nice about getting us new ones. The rest of the food was just ok.

Delicious food, wide variety of good wines offered by the sommelier, excellent and prompt service from the food managers and especially our friendly waitress, fantastic limoncello dessert and a nice and delicious tiramisu as a complement for the birthday celebration.

Everyone loved their food! Everyone chose varieties of pasta or risotto. We'd expect nothing less out of this restaurant or its sister restaurant across the street, Volos. Only complaint is that, given its location right across the street from the Four Seasons, they need to be better at timeliness - anyone coming in for a 5 or 5:30 pm reservation on a performance night likely has a curtain time to make across the street. Our tabs would likely have been larger if there hadn't been a delay in taking our orders, and we had to flag down our server and ask for our bills.

A single notch below a Michelin starred restaurant (if they wanted to be one, they could) . My party had the gnocchi, The Beef short rib, the gluten free Pene & the Branzino. All were incredible. The drinks were also very good, they mentioned that they can accommodate anything not on the drink menu and they didn't disappoint. The ambiance was incredible. A good dinner option for anyone traveling to Toronto. A great option for anyone looking to impress a date as well. Fine dining at it's finest, sans a tasting menu & caviar.

Excellent Italian cuisine in a lovely setting. I especially appreciate the pre-opera prix-fixe menu. Service was very attentive. I can't think of anything they could have done better.
