This place is a good spot for lunch with friends in Downtown Toronto. The staff are nice and friendly. The food is decent, but nothing extraordinary. Just so you know, they don't serve Bong olé pasta anymore.
What a lovely stop for lunch on a cold and snow day. Pre-fixe menu included nice options and full portions. The butter sauce in the butternut squash ravioli was divine. The wild mushrooms risotto was served hot and cream perfección. The espresso mousse caused me to pause in rapture while it melted away. We seemed to be the only tourists amongst an otherwise business crowd but were most welcome. The service was attentive and courteous. The setting is good, the service professional. A little fresh bread and very nice appetizers. Short ribs were simple and very tender and rich. Beverages are pricey and that's fine; however, the $9 sparkling water is egregious.
