Came here with a friend for happy hour 1/2 priced oysters.
The oysters were tiny but fresh, well cleaned, and tasted good. Unfortunately they were actually teeny tiny, so not worth your money EVEN with the half priced.
Service was bad, we came when it was basically empty inside (outside patio was full though) and still had to wait a long time to get our order taken. Bartender seemed much more attentive to another group (they were white but I'm unsure if this is a race issue as other reviewers have suggested) and it seemed like part of our order was forgot until I flagged someone down to ask.
Server was also staring at the terminal when were were leaving our tip, just a bit impolite imo. And was also seemed to be judging how much we tippped for the bad service ( still 18% 🙄 so not even that bad). Also their terminal starts the tip suggestion at 20%..... maybe If you're expecting that much than actually provide some attentive service.

If you’re deaf or love country music, this is the place for you. We came for happy hour, sat straight down, was pretty empty. no idea what the server was doing because there were just mainly about 5 ppl lined up by the bar inside, (maybe was stuck in the bathroom..) but our second round of order never came. Meanwhile the music just got increasingly louder. Mind you we were outside by the street in the patio and it was still drilling in our skulls haha Maybe it was us, but no thanks never again. Half price for the tiny oysters/ bottle of cava was cool though, but man sitting there felt like a punishment lol

This place has people involved in gangstalking. I witnessed this a guy was sitting on patio eating then he told me to observe how the people behave and I saw one guy with a Brazil jersey stare at him a few times then he gets the stocky waiter to sit beside hime and they talk secretly then they look at him. Then the craziest things I look up ver to the pub next door Ruby Soho and these 2 women one white one brown sitting on patio both look at him 3 or 4 times in obvious way where the brown one turns around. This is definitely gangstalking as a group of people are coordinating using cells to obviously harass someone who was just sitting there eating. Very weird and unfriendly.

Not welcoming… unless you’re white or “white” passing. I’ve been a few times and as a woman of colour I’m often overlooked or interacted with dryly by certain staff when alone. Different interactions are had when my white friends are around. Very upsetting but not surprising for king st. Please do better and add inclusion to your image (and insta) and make it friendly for ALL people :) food is bomb tho but won’t be back unfortunately

WARNING. This place is known to have a janky group of people who work together to steal phones. Usually they target women. One man will chat up a girl and the other distracts the friends while they pick pocket you. then, they disappear. Beware. It’s happened to my friend recently and apparently to many people around, as I’ve come to learn while sharing the story. Also it’s a super sweaty bar with sticky dirty floors and expensive watered down drinks. Don’t recommend.

I ended up having Guinness draft here last night. Such a busy and lively vibe. They play a bit of pop and rap songs. People they are nice.
Extremely disappointing experience. Portions deceptively small. Two dishes tasted burnt with a similar char as though they were cooked in the same pan with burnt oil. The crispy tuna left much to be desired, both the crisp and the tuna. Our palettes were dazzled with limp falling apart rice, and trying to ‘where’s Waldo’ the tuna as a spec covered under a cloak of unnecessary garnish. Our one saving grace was the village salad in which we discovered a hair. Atmosphere was nice but loud and chilly, and service was standard, nothing to scold or rave about.

Popped into this establishment on a Monday at open and surprisingly had one of the best burgers I’ve had. Had the wagyu burger and it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.
