Great addition to the neighborhood. The guac and margaritas we had were delicious, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Can't wait to go back 🙂

Super fun decor and vibe.
Delicious food - hot sauce, chicken tacos and churros were great :). Mango margaritas is a vibe. The service, kindness and music made it feel like a Mexican restaurant should.

This location when was Los Cantaritos used to be incredible, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I believe the current rating reflects the previous restaurant, not what it has become since rebranding as Frida House.
We were just two people and ordered guacamole and chips, one quesabiria, two margaritas, two beers, and two shots. The margaritas were served in glasses that were barely half full, and the total came to $134 completely unreasonable for the quality and portions we received. Everything felt so disorganized and kinda of a joke.
What was served did not match the pictures at all. The food was pre-packaged and reheated, not fresh or homemade like it used to be. The taste has completely changed. It no longer has that quality, authentic feel that made this place special before.
There was only one waitress handling everything taking orders and “prepping” food in the kitchen. The music was so low we could clearly hear food being microwaved. The restaurant wasn’t busy it was just us, yet the experience felt disorganized and underwhelming.
It’s honestly sad to see how much it has declined. Definitely not worth the money. We are not going back there anymore.

I tried their Birria torta on uber eats and had to try it in person! The green salsa that came with it was definitely the highlight :) The staff is amazing and very accommodating on snowy winter day!

The place is beautifully decorated and have lovely people but the food was unfortunatley inedible.
We ordered Guac and chips - store bought chips and guac was bland
Tacos -
Baha Fish ( extremely satly and soggy)
Veggie ( peppers and mushrooms that were very flavourless)
They also didn’t have any horchata or Pastor available.

“The food there is really delicious; it makes you feel at home. They are very kind when serving you. I highly recommend it. They just opened, it’s now called Casa R, and the restaurant service is available from the morning until 4 p.m., with a family-friendly atmosphere; and in the late afternoon and evening it turns more into a bar.”
