Great atmosphere and great food. The Mochiko fried chicken and taro tots are a couple of our favourites. Also a great place to grab drinks.

We visited Lulu Bar on Valentine's Day this year at the recommendation of a friend. My boyfriend has an anaphylactic nut allergy, which usually gives us some anxiety in restaurants, but the staff were so confident and assuring that we felt completely comfortable. At every new course or drink they served us, they reinforced that it was made without any nut contact. I truly think that the way they handled his allergy was one of the best experiences we've had in a restaurant in Toronto.
The staff were so lovely, providing great recommendations, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is gorgeous. The cocktails were incredible; our favourites were the Chichi, Fever Dream, and Toasty Coconut Old Fashioned.
In terms of food, we ordered: Hot Dog Bao, Fried Coconut Squid, Scallop Crudo, Crispy Chicken Wontons, Grilled Pork Belly and Brussel Sprouts. Everything was delicious and the staff did a great job at spacing everything out. We will definitely be back :)

We came for Valentine's Day and had the set menu, which was a perfect amount for two people. The ambiance and the drinks transported us to a tropical Hawaiian beach. Our server was lovely and ensured we had an enjoyable time. We will definitely be back!

Tried the Winterlicious menu. Salmon appetizer: way too salty. Cod main: impressively flavourless. Sorbet dessert: overwhelmingly sweet. Lulu is an easy skip — lots of better places to try.

Loved seeing Filipino elements in the food, drinks and music. Methinks that's an acknowledgment of the Filipino community in Hawaii and their influence in the current “lulu food scene. Good on you, Lulu Bar.

The server, Claudia was initially quite rude and had a lot of push back for any requests. The attitude changed quite fast once the whole team was involved, which should never be the case for a small requests. The food is ok. The drinks are ok as well. Everything could be leveled up easily. Overall, I would sit downstairs as the bartenders are the best there. I would not suggest getting any seafood dishes. The chicken options are way better.
