A truly wonderful, reliable community staple that consistently delivers honest quality and real homemade care. In a city filled with trendy, over-priced dessert shops, it is incredibly refreshing to have a place that focuses on traditional baking, real ingredients & genuine customer respect.
The layout is simple, bright & always immaculately clean. I regularly visit on weekend mornings to pick up their fresh sourdough bread, artisanal pantry items & homemade chicken pot pies for dinner. Everything is transparently priced & the taste reminds me of proper, scratch-made family cooking. The ladies behind the counter are always soft-spoken, truly polite, and handle every customer with patience. It’s a beautifully managed, steady neighborhood gem that respects its community and treats people with real care. A perfect, pleasant destination for anyone who appreciates authentic quality and a grounded shopping experience. Excellent.

Mabel’s bakery js a beautiful tucked in bakery at 5 different locations my fav is Roncesvalles one wherein you get the Canadas best sourdoughs along with most organic, gluten free, some vegan sweet treats! I tried their brunch and oh boy that reminds you of your mum cooking a full spread on sundays ☀️🍳🍓 must try their French toast made with fresh challah and lemon curd, berry compote ufff lip smacking! Totally Worth picking up few specialty groceries as well I loveeedd their seeded granola mixes & kefir. And their brownies just always hit the spot so yummmm! And not to forget their carrot cake 🍰 sooo good

Delicious strawberry mocha! Smelled really fresh inside!
Honestly everything about this place is amazing. Especially the workers—the workers are so kind! I was out of money since I spent money on other gifts for my Mom and the lady who worked there gave me a free cookie for my Mom! I seriously appreciate that gesture and to whoever that was, I wish you the best day! The orange juice I got for myself was also so delicious, I finished it all on the walk back home.

Originally, I came into Mabel’s to get a coffee- thankfully we were shown a brunch menu and decided to stay - it was a great experience and thankful we got to stay and eat. A very nice atmosphere, the storefront is clean and well organized- seating area was comfortable and unique. I really appreciated the staffs welcoming and friendly demeanour and recommendations. I got the classic breakfast and the turmeric potatoes were great! I also enjoyed the fruit on the plate and the coffee was rich and flavourful. Would definitely recommend sitting in and enjoying the brunch!

Unhealthly salty!
I went shopping for bread yesterday, trying several types. All of them containing far to much salt to be pleasurable to any palate that is not totally blanked by SAD salt.

We just moved into the neighborhood and started getting our Sunday sourdough from Mable’s. Very pleasant staff and tasty bread. Sometimes it’s a bit hard.

I had a wonderful experience at Mabel’s roncy the other day. Thom brightened my day and he was so sweet with everyone who stepped through the door. This is the kind of people we need running the world!
Every year this place makes everything smaller and charge more. Last yr they added to price bc ther oven broke and all the customers should help pay for new one?? What the heck? They make this breadstick so skinny and flat definitely not the same as it was yrs past. Will not go back. I stopped for a bit and thought we give it another try but still a disappointment. Can’t fool anyone by stretching the ends. During Covid if you didn’t tip u get dirty looks smh

I was there recently when my friend bought their white sourdough bread and there was many chunks of flour throughout. that doesn’t even account for the next time i went. when i bought a clearly labeled gluten free treat and had a horrible allergic reaction. while i was in there purchasing the treat i witnessed employees being treated rudely by the staff and will definitely not be going in anytime soon ever.

We had the roastbeef sandwich turkey n chicken sandwich. All 3 tasted delicious and fresh and the bread was so soft. Excellent customer service. Loved the Chocolate Croissant. Lots of options s to choose from. Good ideas if you're a gift basket type of giver .

Amazing bakery, a dreamy little haven —
Where service sings, the atmosphere is heaven.
They turn simple bread into pure magic,
And a humble croissant becomes romantic.
I swear I need to go back soon…
Because of their Gingerbread Cookies?
