Maguro House has become one of my favourite sushi spots in Toronto. The place feels cozy the moment you walk in, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive without hovering.

The sushi is super fresh and really well made. You can tell they care about the quality — the fish is tender, the rice is seasoned just right, and the rolls have great flavour without being overdone. I especially liked their special rolls and nigiri.

Portions are fair, prices make sense for the quality, and the whole experience feels relaxed instead of rushed. Whether you’re going for a casual dinner or something a bit nicer, it’s a great pick.

I’d definitely go back and recommend it to anyone who enjoys good sushi.

Hands down the best Japanese food I have had till date.
We have tried sushi and Japanese food from various restaurants all over GTA, and this was the outstanding. We order a mixture of sushi, ramen, udon, and Japanese curry. All the food was superb, wonderfully tasteful. I am actually looking forward to go again to try some other menu items.

The ambiance is cozy, even though it's a fairly big restaurant. Most of the seating is open, but they have some private booths too.

The staff is courteous and attentive.

Amazing experience! The staff especially the owner Kevin were so friendly and welcoming, and the sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Great atmosphere and excellent service—definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Some of the nicest folks work here, so kind so much passion and care and some of the freshest sushi in the city. They even throw in some extra tempura on the house each time!

I have 2 young children and needed to use the washroom. One worker told me it’s only for paying customers … smh .. would she say that to her kids ?

Lovely waterfront location - the patio is a fantastic place in nice weather. The food was excellent and incredibly well priced for its ideal location across from the Toronto Music Garden and the harbourfront.

The shrimp tempura was so good we skipped dessert in favour of a second order.
