Maker Pizza has become our go to pizza spot! You can not only see their use of fresh ingredients but also taste it, from the crust to the toppings, even the dipping sauces.
We’ve tried: Dr. Pepperoni, Franks Best, and the So Mushroom. We normally always order the Dr. Pepperoni and 1 new type of pizza we haven’t tried. I prefer the Franks Best from the White base line up.
Base: I’m not normally a fan of thin pizza (hate soggy middles) but their pizza stands out because it’s thin but crispy and it passes the hold test. The way they cook the pizza gives a beautiful smoky blister to the crust. The crust is a welcomed flavourful end to a great slice. It also works great as a palette cleanser for switching between the different types of pizza. 🤪
Pizza Sauce: you can taste they make the tomato sauce in house. It’s nicely tangy and well balanced. It’s not sweet, which I really appreciate. They add the perfect amount each time.
Toppings: love the mini peps on the Dr. Pepperoni. They come as perfect crispy cups of salty goodness. The light honey drizzle on the Franks Best, tag teaming with the sesame crust, goat cheese, fresh rosemary, annd freakin caramelized onions. Chefs kiss! You can tell the flavor combinations are very well thought through.
Dipping sauces: i believe they also fresh make their dipping sauces. You can certainly taste the difference. loooove their dill ranch with the pizzas. I prefer it over the garlic sauce. The tang really cuts the richness, for a balanced bite. You can see the little fresh dill petals in the sauce. Also, their blue cheese dip with the chicken wings has chunks of blue cheese in it. The blue cheese as a mild funk that pairs well with the buffalo wing.
Staff: the staff at Cameron St location are so nice. Everybody’s so chill and looks like they’re just a bunch of friends working together. They are respectful to the delivery app drivers too, which I love.
My only recommendation/ wish would be that they had a few more pizzas on the line up in terms of variety.
Overall 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking get their pizza fix! Looking forward to our next visit!

Hard to think of a Toronto institution that has gone downhill more than Makers. Used to be the #1 pizza in Toronto, loaded with toppings and done to perfection. Now its ultra thin crust, hardly any cheese or sauce and not nearly as much pepperoni as before. The pizza is consistently underdone. A far, far cry from it once it was. After several chances, I am likely done with Makers.

Ordered from Uber Eats and clicked the “lite cheese” option and the entire pizza arrived without cheese.
Honestly don’t know why the rating isn’t higher. My boyfriend and I LOVE this place. Our delivery was flawless, very kind delivery man. The pizza delicious as always. Our personal recommendation is the Napoli Dynamite with the Spicy Creamy Garlic dip. Pretty big pizza for two people (the 16in) we always have leftovers. I love that they have their own delivery so you don’t really need to use (and pay) third party apps.
