Can't really speak to the atmosphere (delivery), but what I can say is the delivery driver and the quality of the food was exceptional.
Food was cooked well, hot, and very generous. Definitely worth the slightly more premium price.
And the delivery person from Maker called me to make sure I knew the pizza had been dropped off at the right door, AND sent a text.
Above and beyond, definitely my favourite pizza place in the city.

I used to love Maker's Pizza. I grew up going here and always thought of it as one of my favorite local spots. The pizza is great, and it holds a lot of nostalgia for me.
But a couple months ago, I asked the staff at the counter if they cross-contaminate with meat, and they told me yes. As someone who can’t eat anything that comes into contact with meat for religious reasons (I'm Muslim), that was really disappointing to hear. I was told that I could order a whole pizza and request special accommodations — which I appreciate — but sometimes you just want a single slice, not a whole pie. It’s not always practical or affordable to buy an entire pizza just to feel safe eating here.
I’m sharing this because I know a lot of people have dietary restrictions or religious dietary needs, and it's something to be aware of. I still have a lot of love for this place, but it genuinely hurts not to be able to enjoy it like I used to. I hope one day they’ll consider making some changes that allow more people to eat here safely.

Delicious thin crust pizza! I had the Franks Best last night and it was amazing 🤩 Hubby had the pepperoni and he loved it too. Lots of leftovers 😋

The pizza was good, not very saucy but pretty good. Loved that they had a bunch of vegetarian options to choose from! We had the cheese slice and the one with the spicy pineapples (taverna?) and both were very nice. The pineapple pizza had so many things on it but it was all pretty well balanced! The spicy garlic dip was excellent and actually spicy! The only thing I disliked about the pizza was the amount of oil that was dripping as I ate it. But the crust was quite nice. The space looked a little uncared for to be honest, the long table was dirty with crumbs and some grease and that was a little off-putting for me personally. And while the staff were not rude, they were either not having it, or we're just used to a more 'happier' (for the lack of a better word) staff who greet us and are delighted to give us recommendations. This wasn't one of those experiences. Definitely give this place a try for the pizza but keep expectations low for the rest. Haha.

Really impressed with this place. It’s relaxed and unpretentious, but the pizza is seriously well done! Has an amazing crust, fresh ingredients, and great balance of flavours. You can tell Matty Matheson is behind it; there’s real care in the details. We ordered a big delivery of four pizzas and wings and it was more than enough for 12 people. Everything arrived on time, hot, and ready to go. For the quality and quantity, the price is really fair, especially for Toronto. Definitely a go-to spot for quality pizza without the fuss.
I absolutely love the pizzas here, I love the Thursday slice deal, I try to come out here as often as I can because the food is amazing here. The issue is without fail on every visit to this location the cashiers audibly insult and say very rude and gross things about their customers and display great displeasure in working, it’s very off putting and immature for cashiers to do this in front of customers. Do better maker, it’s not that hard to keep your negative rude thoughts to yourself, these cashiers single handedly ruin the atmosphere.
