Loved it! Can't wait to go back! We have the calamari, the moussaka, the heirloom salad, the spanakopita, the pita bread was to die for and I forgot which one but it was so good. The cocktails were brilliant. The service was incredible. We just had the best evening.

From arrival to depature it was a wonderful experience we were running late so i called to infomrthem. They were accomding and very pelasnt. We sat at the bar and our bartender Micheal was the tops...friendly, knowlegable and the right level of serivce. Madea great white Negroni as well We had the tasting menu and loved every dish. The dishes were brought ou in a very well timed way. Never feeling liek we were overly waiting for a dish and never feeling like we had too much to eat at once thank you for a nice dinner

It is very good but the prices are a bit ridiculous. There are very good alternatives that are much better value.

The restaurant is beautiful and service is good- due to busy time. We got the lamb chops and octopus but was nothing special. FYI for $70 you get 4 lamb chops sitting on a sauce nothing else. The sauce to the octopus was not much spices to it. Overall it's a vibing restaurant but the foods isn't what we expected.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our dinner. Was glad we were able to move to a table inside. Food and cocktails were very good and service was attentive and polite. Would definitely come back!

Always a go to for when I have people visiting from out of town. Incredible experience every time.

My friend had the beef shiskebob and it was not tender - very chewy. There were no sides and this cost $50! A bit much really. Need to add in a small salad or pita to make it worthwhile. I enjoyed the spinach shakshuka and it was a generous portion.

Loved the ambient, service and food. I would say the price was fair (not cheap though). Friends I went with also enjoyed the restaurant!

We chose Mamakas Tavern to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was such a wonderful experience. We went with the $75 per person shareable menu, and it truly did not disappoint—from the fresh, warm pita to the beautifully plated lamb and octopus dishes, everything was prepared with care and delicacy. To make the evening extra special, we were surprised with complimentary champagne in honor of our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch. Both my husband and I ordered cocktails: I had the Santorini Sunset and he had the Metaxa Mule. They were strong, flavorful, and paired nicely with the meal. That said, I do have a couple of critiques. The potatoes weren't quite what I expected—I was hoping for a more traditional version simply seasoned with lemon juice, herbs and olive oil. The spanakopita also didn't hit the mark for me, as it had too much spinach and wasn't as enjoyable as the other dishes. I'll admit I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews beforehand, but I'm so glad we decided to try it for ourselves. Mamakas delivered a memorable evening, and while it may not be an everyday spot, I'd come back again for special occasions.

We had an incredible dining experience at Mamakas. From start to finish, everything was exceptional — the food, the cocktails, and the service. We started with cocktails and a few selections from the Mezes. The Tirokafteri (Red Pepper Dip) with house-made pita was fantastic, creamy, smoky, and full of flavor. The Kalamári with leek, dill, parsley, green onion, and lemon was tender and perfectly balanced. We also shared the Lavráki Tartare, which was fresh and beautifully seasoned with Mediterranean seabass, pistachio, tarragon, and cilantro. The Horiátiki salad was a standout, heirloom tomato, cucumber, red onion, P.D.O. feta, olive tapenade, and oregano, everything crisp, bright, and seasoned to perfection. For our mains, we ordered the Kotópoulo, half roasted mountain tea brined chicken with mushrooms, and the Moussaka, a rich and comforting blend of ground beef, eggplant, caramelized onion, potato, tomato sauce, and béchamel. Both were cooked perfectly and full of authentic flavor. Our server was wonderful, attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. We'd love to have her again on our next visit. A big thank you to Mike at the gift shop across the street for recommending Mamakas, his suggestion was absolutely perfect. We'll most definitely be back!

The food is so fresh and the service is so friendly! The ambience was so cute, i literally felt like i was in a restaurant in Greece. Such a good spot for a girls night, i loved the prixe fix menu. Wish it came with dessert and didn't really need the chicken but otherwise I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this spot !!!

My husband and I absolutely loved Mamakas, even though our main entrée took awhile to come out (30 mins). I highly recommend this restaurant and I give it 9/10 because each dish was fantastic! I am definitely returning and looking forward to my next visit.

The dips were great and the fresh bread that came with it, I expected more in terms of the mains but it was only just ok and very expensive.
