Went for a weekend brunch. Loved the food especially the Papiera by chef Sarah who was so sweet and attentive to check on how we enjoyed the food. Found a comfort food place in the Ossington area!
Had brunch, the food was AMAZING! We had a stuffed pepper dish, halloumi BLT and the baklava pancakes. The stuffed pepper was soooo good! It may look small but the portion is actually pretty big. The baklava pancake might sound really sweet but it’s not too sweet (which is what I like), the pancakes are really fluffly, and you can adjust the sweetness by adding the baklava syrup (don’t be scared to pour the syrup because it’s not too sweet!). Great date night option or just a nicer night out with friends. We were seated by the window at a high table and bar stools which were not very comfortable, especially for my pregnant friend.Presentation of the food is stunning, but small portions for sharing. We ordered 4 dishes to share among the 3 of us, and I was hungry by the time dinner was over. Taste of dishes were average, nothing spectacular but not atrocious.
