“We've eaten here a couple of times now recently. We were seated quickly (we chose the patio the first time and inside the second time). The host and servers (Marietta was our server both times) are very friendly and helpful, answering questions and making suggestions. The food is delicious; we've enjoyed the chicken souvlaki, fish special, saganaki (we ordered 2 both times), feta fries, Greek salad, etc. Prices are reasonable; typically slightly lower than other longer established Greek restaurants in the area.“

“We stopped by Mr. Greek in downtown Toronto just before a game, and as expected, it was absolutely packed. Despite how incredibly busy it was, the entire team handled everything with professionalism and a great attitude.
From the moment we sat down, they were upfront and honest about the wait time because of the game day rush, which we really appreciated. It's much better to have realistic expectations than empty promises, and they delivered exactly as they said they would.
The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, and our drinks arrived promptly. What impressed us most was the staff's ability to stay calm and organized while managing a full restaurant. Even with some impatient customers around us, the team remained polite, professional, and focused on making sure everyone was looked after.
Our server checked in with us several times throughout the meal to make sure everything was going well, despite constantly being on the move helping other tables. That level of attention during one of the busiest times of the day says a lot about their dedication to customer service.
It's easy to leave a negative review when a restaurant is busy, but people often forget that game days in downtown Toronto are incredibly demanding. The staff worked incredibly hard, communicated well, and never let the pressure affect the quality of the food or the service.

If you're heading there before a game, be patient the wait is worth it. Huge credit to the entire team for keeping things running smoothly under pressure. We'll definitely be back!“

​French Toast: A solid, classic French toast. Executed well and thankfully not too sweet.

​Ham and Egg Sandwich: A letdown. It was essentially just scrambled eggs and ham stuffed between plain rye bread. With no butter, mayo, or sauce to add moisture, it was quite dry and difficult to eat.

Overall, this was a very good dining experience. We are more than happy to give the dry sandwich a pass because the rest of the food, the unbeatable prices, and the stellar service completely won us over. We will definitely be returning to try their lunch and dinner menu.“

“Went to eat here after cinema with my daughter and was impressed with this place. Ordered 2 skewers of chicken with salad, rice, potatoes. The attendant assembled a really nice plate! Gave us an extra plate for my daughter and extra utensils and extra tzatziki sauce. Place is clean, food is fresh cooked and the quality is very good. Its exceptional quality and value, very broad menu for casual dining type restaurant. My wife is a vegetarian and very picky about pub type food, but she also loves occasions and we go there all the time. Head and shoulders above everything else in the toronto east end beaches/ leslieville for a great quality casual meal. Great for families and large parties too.“
