Our guests kept asking us where the delicious gyros was from. Skara! I would highly recommend Skara for your catering needs. I will definitely continue to use them. #bestgyros #skaracatering #catering #partyfood“

“This is a response to Nick Nick’s review. I was in the restaurant when the owner was on the phone with this person. I do not know the owner except to have been there to have witnessed the whole conversation. It was my first time there and came to write my own review. This was meant to be.

While I was waiting for my order, the owner was on the phone asking someone how she can deliver his order because he said he was too far. He agreed and gave the address. She asked for the buzzer code to deliver the food to his door. He refused the give buzzer code. She then asked him what time he had come in to order the previous day so she could check her cameras (he supposedly found plastic and called the next day). He hung up on her.

Now I’m not a rocket scientist but by reading Nick Nick’s other reviews this person has found a lot of plastic in his food from SEVERAL different restaurants. I recommend he cook at home.

This place is clean, food was delicious and I’d definitely come again.“

“The menu is simple in a good way. The food is delicious and these might be the best fries I’ve had in a while. Service is very friendly and there plenty of spots to dine in. I got the chicken shawarma wrap this time but I’ll be back to try the chicken leg and potatoes.“

“The food is great, the service even better. Consistently the friendliest service, always excellent food, it's my go to at St Lawrence Market. Some notable favourites are the grilled cheese - seriously fantastic and unique with the leeks and red onion. Spanakopita is always a delight as is souvlaki. Just tried the loukaino (orange sausage).so good. Love it!“

It genuinely made my day when going there solely because of the incredible kindness of both workers working there (I’m so sorry I didn’t get your names!). Food portions were incredibly generous and my friend can confirm I was beyond pleased with my meal. Everything was just perfect!! Can’t wait to come back sometime🩷“

“We've eaten here a couple of times now recently. We were seated quickly (we chose the patio the first time and inside the second time). The host and servers (Marietta was our server both times) are very friendly and helpful, answering questions and making suggestions. The food is delicious; we've enjoyed the chicken souvlaki, fish special, saganaki (we ordered 2 both times), feta fries, Greek salad, etc. Prices are reasonable; typically slightly lower than other longer established Greek restaurants in the area.“

“Great food, excellent service! Thumbs up!“

“Fresh and delicious! I had to wait over 15 minutes for my food, but it was worth it because everything was freshly made and tasted great.

I asked if I could have half rice and extra potatoes, but they told me the meal already comes with both rice and potatoes, wish I could have more potatoes instead rice. Potatos were so good.
Overall, the food was delicious, and I'd definitely come back!“

“The sea food was good but the prices are high“

“10/10 birthday brunch experience! They surprised us right away with complimentary mimosas, which was so thoughtful!

For our food, we ordered the pancakes, spanakopita, and scrambled eggs, and every single dish was perfectly seasoned, and delicious. We also ordered the chocolate mousse, which arrived with a sweet little birthday candle.

We’ll definitely be back!“
