“I had the honour and pleasure of performing Greek Bouzouki a second time at Floga for a client's baptism. As the artist and sound curator of the event, I will often be asked to eat with the family, which is tricky because I'm usually performing table side while the guests enjoy the entertainment! Today I was forced to take the break (classic Greek hospitality!) and had a wonderful meal. I was served 3 shrimp and an absolutely perfect medium tenderloin with vegetables. I'm not usually a fan of roasted potatoes but these were done well, I cleared the plate. Food was great and so was the service. Floga had a second event downstairs and the rest of the indoor dining spaces were full, it was easily 170 people maybe more. Food was flying out of that kitchen perfect. Not an easy task. “We stopped by Mr. Greek in downtown Toronto just before a game, and as expected, it was absolutely packed. Despite how incredibly busy it was, the entire team handled everything with professionalism and a great attitude.
From the moment we sat down, they were upfront and honest about the wait time because of the game day rush, which we really appreciated. It's much better to have realistic expectations than empty promises, and they delivered exactly as they said they would.
The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, and our drinks arrived promptly. What impressed us most was the staff's ability to stay calm and organized while managing a full restaurant. Even with some impatient customers around us, the team remained polite, professional, and focused on making sure everyone was looked after.
Our server checked in with us several times throughout the meal to make sure everything was going well, despite constantly being on the move helping other tables. That level of attention during one of the busiest times of the day says a lot about their dedication to customer service.
It's easy to leave a negative review when a restaurant is busy, but people often forget that game days in downtown Toronto are incredibly demanding. The staff worked incredibly hard, communicated well, and never let the pressure affect the quality of the food or the service.

If you're heading there before a game, be patient the wait is worth it. Huge credit to the entire team for keeping things running smoothly under pressure. We'll definitely be back!“

I asked if I could have half rice and extra potatoes, but they told me the meal already comes with both rice and potatoes, wish I could have more potatoes instead rice. Potatos were so good.

“Came here Sunday for my birthday

The level of service was incredible, our server Neha was great, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and bubbly. The perfect balance of attentiveness to the table while giving my partner and I the space to enjoy our evening in private. Also asked all the right questions and hit all the points of service. I’ve worked in the industry for 15 years and not easily impressed and Neha delivered.

The other service staff were on point as well, promptly clearing dishes when plates were finished, checking in and wiping the table between courses.

This leaves us at the food. Not bad, but for a Greek resto leaves a bit to be desired. The warm mushroom salad was great, really enjoyed this dish and the creativity behind it. The wood fired halloumi was good, but needs fresh lemon to cut the sweetness of the dish.

For our main we ordered the platter for two, but it only came with one pita, for a bill of $175 for two people, I think a second pita could be included. The chicken and lamb souvlaki was on point, the kofta needs more freshness, more herbs and flavour. Overall I would return how ever.

The flaming Greek cheese is always really fun and the lamb was fall off the bone. While good food always makes for repeat business, great service also means we'll be back. And I am not just saying it because of the complimentary walnut cake which for the record is really tasty. But it would be hard to say something was wrong when everything was right.“

Super fresh, tasty, homemade, tons of options. Their sauce is really good too. The lady who runs this place with her husband is incredibly hardworking and kind.
