I really liked the food here and had a great overall experience. The menu has a good variety, so there’s something for just about everyone, whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a full meal. The portions were generous and offered great value for the price. Everything I ordered tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and was prepared with care. You can tell they put effort into the quality of the food, and it definitely shows in the flavour. The service was friendly and efficient, and the staff made the experience feel welcoming from the moment I walked in. My order was ready quickly, and everything was served hot and exactly as expected. The place was clean, organized, and had a comfortable atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy the meal. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for grabbing lunch during a busy day or picking up dinner on the way home. I also appreciated the wide selection of food available, as it gives me plenty of reasons to come back and try something different next time. Overall, this was a very enjoyable visit, and I left impressed with both the quality of the food and the level of service. I would definitely recommend Marcello’s Market and Deli to anyone looking for a fresh, satisfying meal, and I’ll certainly be returning in the future.

Marcello’s at Scotia Plaza is a fantastic spot for both quick bites and great meals. They offer a wide variety of options — from fresh salads to hot food, including some Indian dishes, which is a nice touch. Their coffee and tea selection is excellent as well, especially the masala chai.

What truly stands out is the service. Tarika Patel is incredibly warm, always smiling, and brings such a positive energy to the space. The staff are equally friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Wanted something different than I normally get so visited Marcellos’s. I purchased a soup (beef barley) it was oily, barely edible. I also got a piece of chicken and 2 spoonfuls of roasted cauliflower, which tasted ok… $19 total. Mind blowing. Overpriced and the food being mediocre, not worth it. I’ll stick to the other options in the food court.

I chose this buffet because it looked slightly cheaper than the others nearby, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. I tried the Chicken Broccoli Mayo salad, the coleslaw, the pasta salad, the butter chicken, and the roasted chicken. The Chicken Broccoli Mayo was unbearably heavy and the chicken pieces were tough and unpleasant. Both the coleslaw and pasta salad were loaded with so much cream that they made me feel sick almost immediately.

The only decent item was the butter chicken — flavourful, but not nearly enough to make up for the rest. The roasted chicken was basically all bone, which makes sense considering they charge by weight ($2.89 per 100g), so you end up paying premium prices for scraps. Even the container they give you is ridiculously heavy, so you’re being charged extra before you even add food — which feels intentional and honestly a bit shady.

When I went to pay, the total came to a shocking $40, and I still left hungry. The staff member then told me she “usually” warns new customers to take less and check the price first — even though I had already asked where the buffet was and how the system works.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Poor value, mediocre food, hidden costs, and a frustrating experience from beginning to end.

This place is awesome. You go in there for Breakfast and again at lunch, and the buffet is completely different! They have a salad bar, hot food buffet, and a pizza kitchen as well. Muffins, coffee, chocolate bars, this place has it all! But how they get you, is everything is by weight, so you have to think about the weight of something before you load it on your plate. I love this place!!!

Flavour less food and stale breads. The staff didn’t behave welcoming either. Won’t recommend.

Great food. A bit pricy since it’s priced by weight. But worth it.
