My favourite coffee shop along the Danforth. Not for studying/working, or meeting up with friends, but rather the actual espresso, staff and quaint atmosphere. It’s so bare bones in every way and I love every aspect of it. I periodically stay in the Danforth for weeks at a time, and yet I’ve managed to establish a cadence with all 3 (?) baristas where they know my order the moment I walk in. It’s good vibes all around, love my early morning stops at Marvel.
My boyfriend is from Greece and his favourite drink is the classic Greek frappé. It wasn't listed on the menu but the barista was nice enough to attempt making it for him as he gave her instructions. It wasn't perfect he said, but it was a good effort. We went a 2nd time and we ordered frappé again with the same barista. She recognized us and asked how she could improve the first attempt from our last visit. He patiently gave her instructions and she kindly complied....
We stopped in on a Sunday morning, my wife and I both ordered capuccino's. Amazing coffee flavor, the quality was very good. Their croissants were amongst the best we ever tasted. Highly recommend Marvel Coffee Co.
