This has been on my “want to go” list for quite some time. It did not disappoint! Oysters were great (the peach mignonette was phenomenal), the jumbo shrimp cocktail was delicious, and I shared the veal and spicy rigatoni with a friend. Fabulous dinner that tasted 5 star but didn't break the bank!
Food was great, customer service was amazing Music was loud, had to shout lol Small but very beautiful space
The food and service were adequate, though neither left a lasting impression. The steak was cooked reasonably well, but the experience was diminished by the lack of a proper steak knife—a small detail that made a noticeable difference.
My first time at Maxime's did not disappoint. Incredible food and impeccable service. Love the kitchen. My girlfriend wants the kitchen island for her farmhouse. I look forward to returning soon.
Food was fine but nothing exceptional. Restaurant was small and packed. Hostess did not know what she was doing. Washrooms were small and DIRTY with urine on the ground with only 2 available. Place is not all that. No place to take nice aesthetic photos. Not worth the hype.

Maxime’s is absolutely fantastic. The rigatoni vodka was honestly the best I’ve ever had, so rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. I wish I could get it delivered all the time. The hamachi was incredibly fresh and flavorful, even better than Nobu’s in my opinion.
The atmosphere is warm and elegant, and the restaurant is spotless. I love that the kitchen is open in the middle of the space so you can watch the chefs at work. Everything feels thoughtful and done with care. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in the city.

We had an okay experience. We went for a birthday and we booked indoor seating and, when we got there, we were told there was only outdoor seating or bar seating. So, we ended up sitting outside which was disappointing because the ambiance was definitely more lively inside and that is why we booked the restaurant. There are also only 2 washrooms for the whole restaurant so there was always a line and this was right beside the open kitchen. This really didn't fit the upscale vibe of the rest of the restaurant and was really annoying. They also did not bring out any little dessert considering we were celebrating a birthday, which you would expect at a place with this kind of vibe. Overall the food was good and our server was good but I'm not sure we'd recommend this to others considering you can get good food and a better overall experience at other places nearby.
Very much enjoy the spicy vodka rigatoni, my favourite dish so far, the restaurant is very warm and welcoming. Music isn't too loud so you can carry and actual conversation. The staff are great and the food is top tier.
They put us in such a dark area Beside the kitchen and at a table with a broken chair. Cutlery was placed on the raw table with no napkins and constantly took away cutlery and napkins away. Drinks took a bit long to come out but considering it was busy it was understandable. I ordered the sliders which were not fully cooked and still placed on my bill after I asked for it to be taken away. Also they charge a cake cutting fee of 5$ per person if you decide to bring a cake even though you are cutting your cake on your own. It was my second and last time visiting as they even offer good tasting food but small portions for such an expensive price. Only two bathrooms are available and you can barely fit in each as they are quite small and tiny. Nice aesthetic though but I wouldn’t visit again. I recommend the Mac and cheese with house bread.

Here’s a polished and natural version of your review:
We went to Maxime’s for my wife’s birthday dinner, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. All of our guests loved the food especially the steak that our waiter Mark recommended he was truly amazing took care of us entire night.
A special thank you to Nader for personally coming by our table, making us feel comfortable, and ensuring everything was perfect.
Overall, a truly memorable night. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Maxine’s to everyone —their pasta, steak, are top-notch definitely 5 star ⭐️

The seafood tower's great, and we loved the steak, too. The waiter on the other hand really destroyed a wonderful dining experience.
Cute place but very slow service and mediocre overpriced food.

I went to Maxime's on a Wednesday evening. It wasn't busy but the atmosphere was amazing. It's a great place for a date night or girls evening to catch up. I got sea bass, broccolini, and spicy vodka rigatoni. Everything was beyond expectations. As someone who likes spicy food, I didn't find the rigatoni to be that spicy. The flavours for the food was still 10/10.
Amazing service. I love that the happy hour goes until 7 to give people an opportunity to actually enjoy it after work. Cool vibe inside, also has a nice patio.
