Great decor and vibes, but the music is way too loud.

This is one of my favourite places in Toronto and I think it’s the perfect date location for couples. They have a really unique menu at reasonable prices, a bunch of free arcade games to play, and the atmosphere is incredible. You wouldn’t think it would be so beautiful based on the exterior of the building, but once you’re inside, it is stunning. My boyfriend and I accidentally stumbled upon this place and now we suggested to friends all the time!

Great place to hang out, have a bite, and play a couple games! It only has about a third of the amount of games you would find in other arcade bars downtown, but there's no additional cover charge here for freeplay games. Therefore, the food is more of a focus here than in the other arcade bars.
Smoked Duck Pizza:
- the bottom crust was a little thicker than I anticipated
- the flavour of the duck kind of got drowned out under the sauce
- almost too much arugula
Kimchi Mac & Cheese:
- very savoury and creamy, with just a hint of tanginess from the kimchi
- very small portion, makes sense at the happy hour price of $5 but not at the regular $11 price
Coconut Shrimp:
- breading had a strong coconut flavour but was quite hard
- loved the sweet pineapple sauce it comes with
I think if you come during happy hour (6-9pm every day), where they have 50% off pizzas and many other items discounted, it's very worth it. Outside of that, and/or if you want more retro consoles or pinball machines, you'd be better off going to Freeplay or Tilt. Although, this place is cleaner, cooler, more spacious, and less busy. There also seems to have frequent events and DJ sessions here so it's a fun vibe!

Basically a daycare for men. There’s better arcades in the vicinity.

Such friendly staff, the beer was reasonably priced, and the food was great as well! (Kimchi Fried Rice)
Had my 19th birthday there and it was amazing! The bartender was so nice and welcoming, the food and drinks were delicious and the games were very fun. Lots to choose from.

Cool barcade. Good selection of games like race car, mortall kombat, basketball, beer pong, bowling, and more. Decent size as well. Prices and beer selection are a bit tough. Sapporo was CAD9.

This place was super awesome. I (terrible with names) forget the bartender’s, but it was something like Jolianne, I think. She was really really cool and made our night. Highlight. Best arcade bar in the city, I presume.

Midnight Arcade in Kensington absolutely smashes for a nights out with friends . Think neon lights, retro-gaming benches, and a dance floor tucked up on the second level where things start to pop off every weekend
The vibe? A mix of arcade nostalgia and club energy. You’ll walk in, play a few vintage games, grab a drink, then find yourself in the middle of a dance floor with DJs spinning R&B/EDM/hip-hop depending on the night.
can’t wait to visit again
