Brunch is decent. The service is comically slow considering there were only two tables. The staff appeared to be having a lively and engaging conversation.

Great French restaurant that has always been super busy so make sure to make reservations. The volume can get quite loud as you sit at bistro style tables and are close to other parties. But the food and service make up for that and it is part of the ambiance of a French restaurant.

We were seated by the door and a cold draft was blowing on my girlfriend the entire time. Not a huge deal, we dealt with it, but it set the tone.

The food was the real problem. The French onion soup was genuinely bad. Extremely watery, flavourless, and clearly under-seasoned. There were maybe three or four slices of onion in the entire bowl, and they were not caramelized at all. If you are going to charge good money for something as basic and inexpensive as French onion soup, the bare minimum is properly caramelizing the onions and building some depth of flavour. An average home cook could do better. The bowl itself was thick ceramic, which made it look generous, but the actual portion was very small.

I also ordered the burger medium well and it came out beyond well done. That would be fine if the burger itself had any redeeming qualities, but it was small, dry, and completely lacking restaurant-level quality. I can make a better burger at home with store-bought ground beef. Just like the soup, it tasted careless. No balance, no seasoning, no sense that anyone cared about how it turned out.

Overall, the food feels engineered for maximum profit with minimal effort and skill. I understand the argument that this style of French onion soup is more common in France. I’ve spent years there, and while that can be true in very casual places, those places are charging a fraction of the price. Mediocre food exists everywhere, including France, but it is not sold as fine dining.

For the prices being charged here, the quality simply does not justify it.

Benjamin was sooo lovely and I can’t stress it enough. He was the best possible thing that happened to us. He recommended the best wine and food.
If you ever have him as your server, consider yourself lucky.

We went here for my partner’s birthday. The staff were amazing! They sat us on a very nice and cozy table. We tried their Château de Bourgogne for appetizer which was served with honey and sour dough bread. It was such a unique and amazing experience.

For main we had duck confit and their steak frites. They were made so well. Honestly they’re so well priced for the quality of their foods and drinks. The ambiance is so lovely and completely feels like a nice cafe in Paris both decor wise and the vibe.

Their milou martini was amazing too! Will definitely go back, we love this place!

Host was rude, walked in and he immediately referred to my guest for a reservation under my name, looking past me and not acknowledging me. Ordered steak tartare which was ok, cod was cooked nicely but the dish was very plain with flat pieces of lettuce and a salad dressing of a sauce. Very underwhelming. My guest order the mushroom risotto and was struggling to finish it looked like mush and the texture of like vomit. The food is overpriced especially for the portions and quality. This was a birthday dinner and I wish it went better but the mood was soured from the start.

Big fan of a small but well delivered menu. I had the steak frites and my partner had the burger, both delicious and filling with room for dessert. We sat at the bar because tables looked a little cramped and had a lovely conversation with the bartender (forgot name but from London ontario) great vibe, glad we found it.✌🏽 little Spenny on the drinks.

Visited for Sunday morning breakfast - really nice local buzz, great service and super friendly staff. The food was delicious, and even though I was by myself at the bar, the team was incredibly welcoming.
