These were on my daughter's list of foods to try in Canada and we weren't disappointed. Went for the classic and it was crispy and delicious. My husband had the poutine version and really enjoyed it. Staff were a bit sullen bit it was new years day so understandable!
The pastries were amazing and unforgettable. I strongly recommend trying out the pastries at least once, because they are something you’ve never tried before. The BeaverDog was lacklustre though. Just get some hot dog from a stand outside. It’ll taste much better. Also, there should be more of an emphasis placed on sanitation, as the employees just hand the food to you without being conscious about it. If you don't eat anything else - you have to eat a beaver tail. Fried dough with your choice of toppings. I don't get anything but sugar on mine, my partner likes sugar and lemon. SOOOO good. A nice treat. Eat immediately and enjoy the view at this beautiful location. Worth a wait as there is occasionally a line.
