Beware, the online menu item prices do not represent the menu prices at the restaurant. The restaurant’s menu prices are much higher. The steak was $68 vs the online menu price of $55. I understand the price of food has gone up, but 24%. Not to mention you mislead people if they are checking out your menu online before visiting.
I mentioned the price discrepancy to our server, she said she knew nothing about that and said she’d mention it to her manager. Later she told me the manager knows about this discrepancy already.
The manager never even had the business sense to come to talk to me about it. My concern was ignored. Too bad because the intention of my visit today was to review
the restaurant to consider booking a graduation party there. Needless to say, I won’t be
.
Side note: Service was as good as it could be considering they were under staffed.

Generally I love this place. I've had their brunch a couple times and it was delicious. Been wanting to try the vodka pasta for a while. I finally ordered it and I was kinda of disappointed. I expected better. I love alla vodka pasta and have tried it in many places. I thought the sauce would be a bit better. But service was lovely.

Amazing food! Blown away

This is the second time I have been here, thinking I would give the service portion a second chance. Service this time was worse than the first. Slow service overall from checking to see if anything is needed to not bringing our entire tables food out at once. Won't be going back

We ordered egg breakfast, seafood pasta, two juices and coffee; the food was overall nice but the bread came out burnt. Seafood pasta was very nice but the portion was small for the price ($26 or so). Someone had said this place charges full-service restaurant prices but is operated as a cafe, and I agree. Food came out very slow, no designated server, very basic and minimal service. Altogether we paid over $80 and I am not sure if it was worth the money. The atmosphere and decor were nice, and the furniture store right next to it was a pleasure to visit. Ample parking in the middle of quite nowhere.

I loved the place I'll be back for sure. The food was tasty and fresh. And what to say about the service? They are incredible.

This is a great Cafe. Great atmosphere and good place to meet. Lots of free parking in the Yorkdale area.

The food is delicious BUT the service leaves everything to be desired. The guy that works here is super condescending. The service is also super slow. There could be not one singular soul in here and your sandwich will still take 25+ minutes. The food IS delicious, very fresh. Service is trash, prices steep but it’s a great little cafe if you’re in the area.

Authentic Italian experience at Moretti Caffè. The salmon tartar was phenomenal, and the pizza was simply perfect. Will definitely be returning here. NEED TO EDIT this review as I did not pay for the meal but learned that Cafe Moretti charges for water any type but fails to tell the customer this until the bill comes. This is absolutely outrageous! Tap water is free and is offered this way at all other restaurants. Will need to rethink my return to Morettis if this is not amended. Many many bad reviews because of having to pay for water. Shame on you!

the WORST customer service experience ever after eating out in over 25 countries including Italy.

Mario needs to be sent on a course or in the kitchen where he doesn't interact with customers. Very rude, arrogant and and inconsiderate individual.

Food was very good but such a shame will never be returning back due to this interaction with 1 staff.

It’s a shame that how the whole experience can be ruined by 1 person. The food was really good but the staff member (Mario) was clueless regarding customer service. Arrogance at peak level. Should have looked at the reviews before going in, looks like it’s the customer service where they lack mostly.

We loved the place. The eggs were well cooked and so were Pancakes. Latte was light roast which is exactly how we love it. Highly recommend this place.

We were originally at Yorkdale Mall and wanted to go for some coffee and tea in the afternoon, but the cafes and other coffee places were crowded, and the lines were long and the height of busyness. So we looked up a place nearby outside the mall and found Moretti Caffe @House Societe. 6 min drive from the mall.

The gentleman serving us was very accommodating, and the desserts we had were so divine! This place is connected to the House Societe, which you can enter at the back of the Moretti Caffe.

Unfortunately, a table next to us had a rude and entitled individual towards the server, which disrupted the middle of our time there. The server was kind and respectful in response to the impatient customer.

Other than that, we had a nice time.
We hope to come back for a meal next time!

“We don’t do tap water “ never ever have I been at any restaurant that refuses to serve tap water and instead insists you order Perrier. I am so turned off and will never go back. To clarify we ordered a 2 salads and a pizza, we were not just walking in thirsty. Shocking and not customer focused.
