The food was fair. Not as we had expected. They have a fabulous reputation in Asia. Would not rush back.

Very nice Peking duck beautifully done and served by table carving station. Our waiter not a very inviting personality. Overpriced by the time you have 2 appetizers and two drinks over $400 for 2 people. One time but I wouldn't go back

The food was delicious. The staff were friendly, the overall service was appalling. The evening started well with good service. Then all staff disappeared for over 45 minutes. Upon returning I complained that we were left with food in the table and two dishes had not arrived. We were offered the two dishes but declined as we were ready to leave. The drinks were removed from the bill. The table next to us got a free whole duck on the house also. Serious issues needing resolved.

Wonderful service from all staff, especially Sarah who was attentive and helpful throughout the evening.

First thing first, the reception experience almost turned us away- the blonde female ignored our (a group of 3) arrival and ONLY focus on the gent behind us with reservation under BMO. Gosh... I couldn't believe this happened in this kind of restaurant tier... Table service is not attentive enough neither; I tried to make several eye contact with the servers (yes they do NOT assign designated server to your table, and all is by luck) and they were just trying to escape from your sight. Food wise, some items are up to par, while others vs the price tags, I'd go somewhere serving steak and frites with a good glass of house wine, for a better value next time. Don't get me wrong, I am a regular with Mott32 in all other locations round the globe. This one is a bit disappointing ...

Amazing from start to finish. We were there celebrating a special occasion and we were treated wonderfully from the moment we arrived. The service was impeccable with great food and wine recommendations. We did order too much but that was our own fault for wanting to try everything. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and very high end. I would happily return and it was one of my best dining experiences in Toronto for a long time.

A lovely room with great views and attentive, friendly service. All the dishes were fine, we tried G. Tso's chicken, fried rice, soup dumplings, little pork rolls, eggplant and a wonderful mango soup for dessert. The only problem with Mott is that it is too expensive. Dinner for two (without wine) of the dishes above came to over $250, add the tip which is preset to as much as 30% and you are over $300. If you can afford it, go for it, you probably don't care, but for this amount there are better meals to be had in Toronto, and you can certainly get a bowl of G. Tso's chicken and rice for much much less.

The food, service, and ambiance were fantastic. Everything was fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the morel cheung fun, the miso black cod dumplings, and the balls with beet inside. I found it pricey but the location downtown makes that understandable. Highly recommend.

Amazing food! Super accommodating. We are vegan but eat fish, they were very helpful in adjusting courses and offering a variety of delicious options for us. Absolutely would come back again. Gorgeous setting too

Happy hour was not as advertised and they would not honour posted items. Menu had items crossed off. Server was not attentive. Food was good.

I would not recommend this place if you have any allergies. There is no allergy protocol in place, and the staff were unfamiliar with the ingredients in their dishes. The manager showed little concern for the situation. The only person who showed genuine care was our server. Additionally, the washrooms were poorly maintained, there was no toilet paper or soap. Overall, a very surprising and disappointing experience for an establishment of this level

I came to this restaurant with my friends. I ordered siomai and steamed buns in the snack. It tastes good, but it is written on the menu that three siomai is one set. There were only two siomai when the dishes were served. Later, I found a waiter to make up a siomai. The dishes were originally served according to the number of people, not according to the menu? The two siomai are charged according to the price of the three siomai on the original menu. Then I still have 5 people to come. Should I only charge my share of the money for 5 people at the same time? The taste is good, but the experience is not good

The Peking duck was made the old fashion by roasting the duck with applewood. Very unique and tasty.
