OMG!!!! I'm from the states and I've NEVER had a Caesar salad as good as the one I had from here. I went in 2020 before covid took a toll on the WORLD. When they open back up, you must eat here after you're done with the ROM
Hands down one of the best burgers in the GTA. Quality, juicy meat and fresh baked in house buns. The rosemary seems like a bit of a gimmick but it really adds a beautiful flavor and rounds out the flavors nicely.Service is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant, definitely recommend trying.
My wife and I came to Museum tavern after planning a trip to the ROM. We really enjoyed the food. It was a pleasant surprise.
My favourite restaurant in Toronto! The food is always consistent and amazing. Best Menu Items are the cheese burger, Fried Checkin Sandwich, Cesar Salad, Cobb Salad or Steak and Fries. So many great options. The vibe of the restaurant is very cool and different with their copper ceilings and brass everything. Love this place and can't wait for them to re-open.
One of the best burgers in Toronto. Excellent fries. Prices are a little high, but then again so is the quality.
Great hospitality and amazing food at this very traditional looking bar in front to the ROM. I googled best Lobster Rolls in Toronto and they were one of the top suggestions. The lobster roll did not disappoint. It was well seasoned and the bun was beautifully toasted. I will definitely be back soon.
Patio with double cheeseburgers & chocolate raspberry cake . Yes ??
Location is perfect. The room is nice and the service is good. Food is good but a bit expensive. Good selection of drinks.
Went in for a quick Bite Location: nice and easy to get to Place: has a vintage vibe. Love it Service: waiters were really nice, i came in without a booking and they managed to get me a table??. However they said its always better to book ahead as it gets packed. Food: Ordered a buger (it comes with two patties) and alot of fries on the side which was nice. Burger: loved it. Nice and juicy, excellent meat quality. Fries: perfectly salted, crunchy! I really really really liked the fries. Wouldve loved to have been given a choice of how would i like my burger, medium? Etc. as i like mine with abit of redness. Overall: loved it! Would definitely come again. V highly recommended.
Museum Tavern is a convenient place for lunch or dinner if you’re in Yorkville or going to the ROM. It’s an upscale tavern with a bistro type menu in addition to tavern usuals like burgers, fish & chips, etc. Good wine list, cocktails and of course, beer. I really liked the burger here. Staff are cheery and attentive, and the seating is very comfortable.

Winterlicious menu was one of the worst presented, least inspired meals I've ever had out. Both the chicken stew and Thai curry looked like they had been ladled out of some Dickensian cauldron. Quinoa salad tasted fresh from the supermarket deli counter. I get it if you don't want to feed pri fixe bargain diners, but maybe don't do Winterlicious at all instead of making an insultingly bad offering. Otherwise charming location, service, atmosphere, just terribly disappointing food, we won't be back.
I had the Mussels and they were amazing. I thought it was a generous serving with nice mussels, delicious broth, bread and fries! If the option was there I would take 2 boys of bread for the broth over the fries. My partner and the Duck, he said it was done well. Our friends had the Cheese burger and Nachos. Both were happy with their meals too. Our server was attentive, the decor is cosy and they have a good cocktail list.
Fun time and a great waiter. Going to a Christmas concert across the street and so they were very accommodating with speed of service. Had my parents with us and my dad is 92. Easy access to this second floor restaurant which made the entry and departure so easy. The vibe and hum in the place was fun. Buzzing but not sou loud that you couldn't hare each other, Cocktails were great- (try the Old Fashioned) and the shared appys were fun and delicious. Definitely come back here again.
Stopped in here late one snowy night and the food was very good. I tried the double cheese burger and was worth every cent. 2 other people with me had the buttermilk chicken burger and said it was great. I found service a little slow at times but overall I would recommend eating here.
Excellent tavern across from the Royal Ontario Museum on Bloor Street. Unassuming front view that could use updating, take the stairs up to this bustling bar, spirting an extensive liquor list, and an endless whisky selection. We tried a couple great craft cocktails, using the on-site barrel aged spirits. Some cocktail glasses come with a layer of ice frozen into the glass, making for a unique experience. Food choices were excellent and included elk sliders, duck buns, fish and chips, muscles and fries. Everything was to perfection. Great fries and one of the city’s better fish and chips. Great and attentive service from Cole. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
