I went here twice and both times had Beef Chow mein. It was very nice. One time it was a bit more oily than the other. It's not too expensive. Food comes quickly, but service is a bit rough. They try and get you in and out as quick as possible
I’ve tried a number of Lanzhou noodles restaurants downtown and this is honestly the best one. Very generous portions and fairly inexpensive. I had the traditional beef ramen. The noodles were very chewy and well-made. The beef portions were good and delicious and vegetables fresh. The soup base was not extremely salty like everywhere else. High recommended.
I went to Lanzhou and travelled there with a native Lanzhou friend. I can say the with noodle and pork was equally good if not better at this place comparing to some big name places in Lanzhou.Just heads up that it's literally impossible to try Lanzhou quality mutton because the mutton was free-pastured in an area next to the desert. But the noodle is hand-made by a masterchef at their store and is amazing. You can see the chef making noodle while you're eating,To be honest, the customer service was too good that I paid a little extra tip.
Loved that you can watch your noodles being made. Super fresh and so tasty. Quick and efficient service too. Would 100% recommend.
The soup of beef noodles is too oily and thick. An authentic Lanzhou noodle should be light but flavourful.
Decent bowl of Lanzhou style noodles. There are better options in the area. I found the broth to be lacking flavour and their hot oil is not spicy at all.
Lovely lovely place ?. The noodles are made to order, are delicious, and have a great bounce to each bite. The meat in the traditional one is tender, the broth is good. The roujiamo is fine, I just like my buns a little crisper and a shallower cut to keep the meat in (I know, I'm commenting on having too much meat ?). The lamb skewers are also solid; love the balance between meat and fat, spice could be more, but good nonetheless.
Fried noodles with pork delicious
So delicious! The chef handpulled fresh noodles in front of us. The beef broth in the traditional is rich and the spicy oil adds great depth without putting you through pain. The beef slices are so flavorful despite looking plain. Most importantly, fresh, chewy noodles made perfectly!
yummy~~!! tried the pork gamo, beef gamo, grilled eggplant, grilled tentacles, and onion pancake. everything was great and the man working was very friendly!
Restaurantji Recommends
Two stars for trying. I wanted to like but my order was bland, the noodles over cooked and the flavours less than uninspired.
Ordered through Fantuan this time ordered beef noodles and spicy chicken. I ordered here before but only soups, were pretty decent. This time it was different. Disgusting noodles, soggy, bland and tasted stale. Chicken had strong taste of fish. Very, very disappointed. Do not recommend
Never heard of it but decided to stop here while walking in the Baldwin area. The beef fried noodles was delicious. Ask for the hot sauce on the side!!
As much as the food was well recommended by friend, i dont quite like the idea of ordering before im seated I usually think better when i sit n look at the menu. Well .. was alright. Definitely different compared to the other two beef noodle shops i patronised before. U can compare aft u try urself. Their style differs. Ive my own fav though.
Please support these guys! Their food is incredible. Had the Dan Dan noodle and beef noodle soup. The noodles are SO springy and the soup delicious
