The great thing about this restaurant is not all parties have to order the tasting menu. You can order it and get some extra dishes and share everything. The food was really tasty. My favourites were Wagyu course, hamachi and kaisendon. I’ll definitely be back to try next season’s tasting menu. Highly recommend this place.
This is the basement bar located below Zakkushi. It’s a much more intimate and quiet atmosphere than Zakkushi.
The restaurant serves smaller, tapa style dishes and they also have many drink options (cocktails, sakes, whiskey, beer).
Highly recommend the kimchi tomato and the Ryuku (grilled yellowtail). The kimchi tomato is really refreshing and not something that you would be able to find at other Japanese restaurants.

Super cute basement bar under Zakkushi Carlton! Solid small share plates that don't look filling but actually have great flavor and quantity. A bit pricey and noisy but a great time nonetheless.
