This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants for Chinatown, the experience is well worth it and their cooking is delightful. I love their seafood dishes and particularly their General Tao chicken, which is just the right amount of crunch that I perfer, whereas other locations I find they don't make it as good as this place does,.Their sauce for even their lemon chicken, and black bean for oyster and mussels is fantastic . Be mindful though that if you do not eat pork to ask the server if they include it in the dish like fir example their shrimp.and lobster sauce has pork in it, because often their dishes blend pork into it even though it doesn't say so on the menu, I don't know if they changed this on the menu.but at the time this was necessary Information due to being reactive to pork and had to often request it not included in the Ingredients.
Seafood was not cooked properly. As soon as it touched my month I felt the temperature was off (not even hot). After two days my stomach hurt like crazy, went to the hospital and confirmed Norovirus from bad seafood.
Definitely the worst restaurant I had ever been would not recommend to anyone!

Mid Chinese food at the centre of Toronto's Chinatown.
Food is mediocre, you can pretty get it everywhere else in Canada. The service is nonexistent, I put 2 as pity rating. The atmosphere is just like every Chinese place. Warm lighting, Chinese decorations, and mostly red and orange hue.
Ordered more than in the picture, but this is only popular due to its location and traffic. If you are looking for a good Toronto experience, this ain't it!

I have not attended New Sky Restaurant but I had ordered chicken fried rice as I saw reviews that it was good. I got a lot of rice which is great but, I found the rice just a bit salty. Some people will love it so, I will not make it an awful experience. I will try something else on another day.

One of my favourite Chinese restaurants downtown. Family style but the servers are actually friendly here. Food is great. They give you free pork bone soup and fortune cookies at the end.

First time at New Sky Restaurant I had a great experience and the food was filling and delicious. After looking through the menu it came with a good deal for 2 people to dine. It included a soup , spring rolls, beef and broccoli , and chicken fried rice for $44. Good deals draw me in and this it what I ordered and I’m glad I did because both of us were full by the end of it and took some in a to go container.

The 2nd 5 star I have ever given. I do not know about their other food items but I had the half bbq duck, with a side order of pancakes & vegetables. It was incredible. I also enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant.
