We celebrated my friends birthday here and it was amazing. The food and service were spot on. Our waiter and bartender were super attentive, and honestly the food really impressed me. The beef shank fell right off the bone and the arugula salad was delicious. I will definitely be returning to this location!

2nd time being here, and it’s still as good as it was the first time. Service was great, food was so good and the portions were perfect, just enough! Such a beautiful place, can’t wait for summer to enjoy the rooftop

Food was excellent. Calamari was our starter, and cooked perfectly and the Buffalo Mozzarella caprese was well balanced.
Rigatoni Bolognese, Ravioli, Burratina & Delia Calzone-all delicious & homemade & worth every penny.
We’ll be back!

Wyck Recommends: Nodo (Liberty Village, Toronto)

Rating: 4.1/5

Nodo is what happens when someone builds a beautiful Italian restaurant and forgets it’s still in Liberty Village. The place looks great—big, bright, modern—but the second you circle for parking, reality hits harder than a bad espresso. Pro tip: there’s a 20-minute free spot near the bank—use it or start budgeting like you’re downtown (because you are).

Let’s talk food: the gnocchi is the main character here—light, pillowy, and easily the best thing leaving that kitchen. The rest? Decent. Respectable. The kind of food you enjoy but forget by the time your overpriced parking runs out.

In the summer, they shuck oysters like it’s the Hamptons and sometimes squeeze in live music—rare, but a vibe when it happens. They’ve also got shutter doors that open in good weather, so you can pretend for five minutes you don’t live in a city that taxes you for breathing.

Pros:
✔ Gnocchi slaps—don’t even think about skipping it
✔ Beautiful space—great lighting, clean lines, solid date spot
✔ They also do Brunch
✔ Surprisingly good for big groups—Liberty miracle
✔ Pricing’s fair… if you don’t count what you paid to park

Cons:
✖ Parking is Liberty Village at its worst—bring patience or a bike
✖ Music’s good, but rare—like common sense in this neighborhood
✖ The focaccia? Useless—skip it, carbs deserve better
✖ Food’s good, but only the gnocchi earns a memory

Final Take:
Nodo gets the job done—pretty spot, decent plates, and that gnocchi could start fights. You don’t come here to find God, you come here to feed a table of ten without stabbing each other over the bill. Would I go back? For the gnocchi—every damn time.

The Gnocchi was delicious and surprisingly filling for the portion you get. Will definitely have to come back again and try something else on the menu.

Went for dinner on a Wed night. No wait. Focaccia app is barely enough for 2. Food was good - ravioli, linguine, calzone. Portions reasonable. Bar was a bit slow. Beware the $6.50/bottle sparkling water. Ouch.

Food was tasty, service was average. Calamari is good, do not try the Tiramisu.

We hosted our engagement party at Nodo Liberty and we couldn’t be happier with everything from the planning leading up to the day, to night of, to the morning after. Amazing staff, food and vibe. What an amazing place!

Came here for a private event. The staff were extremely nice! And they all seemed to enjoy being there as much as I did! I wish I got the names of the staff because it was the best service I’ve had in a long long time! One of the male staff recommend a drink if the menu called a MARZOCCA. Soooo good. Might be my new fave drink! We also had a lady who was the most sweetest person ever!!!! Well done to this restaurant for the food and amazing staff! Management clearly treats them well if they enjoy their job this much!!!

Spent a Friday evening here and not only was the food amazing but it was the perfect atmosphere! Made extra special by our amazing server Carolyn. She gave great menu and drink suggestions and had the best demeanour, it was like meeting a great friend for drinks! Carolyn left no detail unattended and was the best host for our Friday night dinner out. Would specifically come back just for her but yes the good food, drinks and atmosphere are worth coming back for too!
